It's a nice sized store which stocks many items. Love the rosissary which stocks the legendary bacon joint, a keto meal right there! They also have great offers and discounts of select lines. The only issue about this store is the parking, no one seems to know whats going on with it. Says a free for an hour, but when you put your reg in after an hour it says free, no fee to pay. I know people who have got tickets here so it really needs sorting out as even the asda customer service desk have no clue how it works. The signs, the machines and asda all tell different rates and restrictions, I just go to the other supermarkets now so I dont get a fine.

This store is self-service only, which is surprising considering how many reviews you have here from customers who are clearly unhappy with this practice. You have staff standing around in groups doing nothing and refusing to serve on the tills. I left my products right there and shopped elsewhere. It's unsurprising to see every time I pass by this shop it's almost empty. Self-service is totally impersonal and puts jobs at risk, as well as putting your own customers off returning. I refuse to use any self-service tills. I am not your employee, I'm a paying customer. You need only step into any other store with manned tills to see the difference in the volume of customers.

Contacted them via twitter in regards to a parking fine. They said they were requesting a cancellation on their part. I hadnβt thought about it again until today when I received a letter from a debt collection agency asking for Β£140. The original fine was only Β£70! Weβll be visiting the area again soon and wonβt be shopping at Asda again.

Signs say 2hrs parking, the need to pay is hidden. Luckily the lady on the self-serve asked me if I had a parking voucher to redeem so purchased then. Nobody serving on the 2 normal checkouts, lady on self service said they won't pay anyone to work on there. Shame, as they can afford to pay someone to go behind the kiosk with no customers and stand playing on their mobile phone. Clearer parking signage and alternative to self service needed.

If you plan on your shopping trip being completed in a timely manner, don't bother with this Asda. 90% of the checkouts are self service and the staff are constantly idle and aren't working to authorise age restricted products etc so queues form up the store and you can be waiting 5+ minutes to check out. They also recently installed NPR cameras on their car park as well so probably worth avoiding that also .

Never has anything you want or need. But for some reason I always come back more for convenience. The staff are friendly enough which makes up for the poor supply of any actual produce. Always give Asda the benefit of the doubt and then go to a better supermarket to buy what I need.

Only 2 check outs are the long conveyer/staff attended type (although I've never seen a staff member on those checkouts) which is unusual for a store of this size/footfall: the rest are self-checkout and use recording devices/cameras which are aimed at faces rather than goods - then perhaps suggesting this is for ID capture rather than prevention of crime. Staff aren't particularly helpful: an older lady needed some assistance with parcel return and was dealt with very curtly by a member of staff - from her general grandiose demeanour I gathered she may be of a low-level supervisory status within the company. I assisted the lady and sure enough (having been through this myself at the Burton branch) it was the same dismissive member of staff who then arrived to bring the customer's parcel to her. The lady was quite shocked by how rude/dismissive and unhelpful this staff member was. As previously outlined, having been through this many times at the Burton store... I wasn't. The store itself is pretty good: nice layout; great selection of goods; very clean and with good parking facilities. Just a shame about the human interactions (or lack thereof).

This is the most user-unfriendly and stressful Asda we have come across. The disabled parking is totally inadequate and you could easily get caught if you failed to read the small print on a sign requiring you to register your vehicle. This is done by queuing at customer services. The store itself is small and doesn't carry a lot of lines and not one of the two normal tills was open so self service was the only choice. Won't be returning.

I called into Asda this morning on my way to a birthday party to buy some wine, champagne etc. The store only has self checkout isles. I refuse to use these as being an ex retail store manager I can see the only reason for these is to reduce the staffing levels. There were four staff members standing around chatting to each other while customers scanned and bagged all of their own purchases. I then went to the make my purchase at the Lottery ticket counter and was then told that I couldnβt pay for these items there. So I put my basket down and walked out. I then drove round to Waitrose to make my purchases and get served properly. The prices were actually cheaper in Waitrose for some of the drinks. I spent Β£98 in total. So Asda, you are probably losing at least Β£3000 per year from my family per year because of your lack of βoperator tillsβ. I know that Iβm not alone in this as Iβve just ready some similar posts. Self checkout tills are awful. They remove all of the personality from shopping. I will not shop in a store that doesnβt provide service.. Good luck in the future. This is not what consumers want..
