   I’ve been pondering on making this review for some time but I feel very let down after my last visit and I think it’s going to be the last time I bother coming to the shop. Scaped nature is in a good location and shop premises being in the centre on Norwich is really attractive. However I have made 3 trips over from afar to visit the shop over the last few years feeling very underwhelmed. First time I took that the shop was getting a re vamp so not much to look at, just a quick browse after finding out about the shop from a friend. I came back a year later and the shop stil had work doing being done with the same area shut off, I tired to ask for the price of an animal I was considering purchasing however the owner was pre occupied talking to a couple for a while and took no notice of me so I gave up and walked out. The most recent trip over was my final one, hoping work had been completed which it had been so I could have a proper look around. Firstly upon entering the shop was shut at 11am but people were inside, I asked was it possible to come in and I was met with a “yeah we aren’t open yet but I suppose so” in a really cold manner. When looking around the shop a lot of animals I was interested in were shop breeding stock or the owners pets. Which was very disheartening, as there wasn’t a great variety to buy and the back of the shop which was now opened was still quite scruffy. I can put all this to one side however the thing that really pushed me to write this review, was the owner attitude towards me as potential customer who potentially would have spent quite a bit of money in the store. I didn’t get a hello when I walked in the shop, or any acknowledgement. I went to buy some live food, but the owner was preoccupied again talking to some people. I waited behind for a considerable amount of time but didn’t get served, I don’t even know if he saw me. So I just left. I’m not trying to write this review out of spite but I’m just very frustrated with the poor customer service and shop store when it has massive potential, and the shops social media such as TikTok and facebook are fantastic. I hope the owners acknowledges my review and uses it for the best. Unfortunately I won’t be returning

   Best shop in Norwich with an awesome selection of tropical plants and animals. I love visiting to see the animals and plants, with a friendly and knowledgeable owner Joe. From praying mantis, snakes, tropical plants, scaping materials, tools and inspiration for making terrariums and vivariums to premade set ups. Its also nice to be able to support a local small shops, knowing you can get a more personal experience and help.

   Highly recommend this shop the plants are always first class and nothing is to much trouble for the owner to help you chose the right plants for your tank. I used to buy my plants on line from a large retailer not any more as far as I am concerned nothing beats Scaped Nature.

   Amazing shop with large range of scaping equipment a variety of rocks, wood, substrates and tools, with a scaping area to scale before purchasing items for your home aquarium, some beautifully scaped tanks, vivariums and terrariums to give ideas on naturalistic scapes you can build. A must visit for any fish or reptile hobbyist looking for a store to get there scaping supplies from.
