The store is supposed to open at 8:00 AM, but in reality, it’s often still closed even around 9:00. When it does happen to open earlier, customers are sometimes told to leave because “the store isn’t open yet.” It’s very inconvenient, especially for those who want to do quick shopping before work. Additionally, one of the employees — a blonde lady who speaks Romanian — is consistently unfriendly. I understand everyone can have a bad day, but her unpleasant attitude seems to be a constant. Because of these repeated experiences, I decided to stop shopping at this store.

Very rude staff and terrible smell and dirt in this shop. I was shopping there today 22nd Sep 2024 11am, with my 5y old daughter. She doesn't like to go to this shop because of that terrible smell we exprienced everytime we were there. Lady by a meat desk was kind and didn't mind that my young daughter hit a few times a bell on the desk which is there for calling the staff. It was just pure childish excitement from its sound. We heard lady by the till shouting to the other lady, so I decided not to allow to my daughter to hit it again. We went to the till but I forgot one thing so I went back to one aisle in the back, my daughter was chosing a chewing gums in the front by the till. Than I heard the lady by the till shouting again and then my daughter came to me with fright. I went to the till and my daughter was hiding behind my back. So I asked politely what has happened. Lady by the till told me very rude way that I should watch my child better, that she was messing with your goods. There was just one box of hubba bubba chewing gum tapes a bit unorganised. So I asked that Lady, why she didn't tell me later and why she was shouting to my child?! Nothing bad happend my daughter didn't break anything, she was just chosing chewing gum and she put them in different order. So, I sorter it back in the order as it probably was. The Lady by the till started to argue with me so I reminded her that she lives in UK and she should follow a british law! That I am not happy about her behaviour. It looked like she had a hangover or didn't sleep well last night. I asked her name and she didn't want to tell me. She was rude and arogant. In my opinion the shop should choose better staff to operate their business. The staff should also have a name tags and be appropriately dressed, let the customers can know better if this person is really a shop staff. When I left, both ladies went outside the shop and started to smoke by the shop door. No wonder why this shop smelles so badly. In my opinion a personal should have reserved breaks and hidden place where to smoke. During working hours, employees should better do something for the business, for example organise goods or clean in the store, to improve its smell to better than make it worse. I'm not comming back to this shop ever again.

We love this supermarket. Loads of choice and a continental produce. Staff are always friendly and happy to translate items. Good prices, many of them cheaper than our regular supermarket in Crewe. I would highly recommend.

Wide selection of products, amazingly good prices but my only complaint is that most of the products lack a translation of what they are. What good is an entire aisle of mustards and mayonnaise if you don't know what differentiates them? The ticketing is also abysmal, with price tickets in no way matching what they're in front of. Between that and the lack of translations, the amount you're charged at the till is entirely random but it's always cheap, so you never feel ripped off...just confused.
