My kitten was given a serious overdose of pain medication after her operation by one of the vetβs. She had to stay in hospital for two days after this. Avoid.

Both of our girls go here and the staff are phenomenal. Our girls are very important members of our family and it is so nice to be able to trust a whole group of people who will care for my fur-babies as much as I do! They are almost always able to see us right on time, they are professional, caring, thank you!!

I unfortunately had to say goodbye to my Dog of almost 13 years today (technically my mumβs, as I donβt live with her). This was something that had come on rather suddenly, and so itβll be a while before I process it properly. Initially, there seemed to be no record of the appointment being booked that morning. However, the receptionist advised a vet would be available after a brief call. By this point, I was worrying as my Dog was suffering quite badly (mostly with her breathing, and probably some dehydration due to being unable to eat or drink). About 15 minutes later, we went through to one of the rooms. Unsurprisingly, the options were limited due to her age and symptoms, and it was clear my beloved Maisy would need to be put to sleep in order to avoid any more pain. Matt was the vet who took care of everything for us, and - having never gone to this vet before - I can only recommend them based on Mattβs empathy and professionalism. What is never a nice moment was made as comfortable as is possible.

They're very caring vets and receptionists in fact the whole team is very caring and supportive. I have a problem with my speech and they always make me feel at ease.

We took our cat to Chapelfield Long Stratton to be put to sleep about four years ago. We thought this would be a straight forward procedure, but it was far from it! Two nurses or vets, not sure what they were, attended and they had not got a clue what they were doing! Our poor, beautiful Tom suffered unbelievably, he was stuck in what I can only explain as a half dead stupor, and was visibly suffering. It took a long time for him to die, and we have felt terribly guilty ever since. We would never use Chapelfield again, even if they were the last vets on earth!!!

The staff at Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership are always professional, kind and thorough. I would definitely recommend them. My only criticism would be their prices, which I feel are quite extortionate at times, especially for simple things like a prescription.

It was very difficult and reluctant consultation in which I said goodbye to my companion for over the past 15years. The vet and nurse showed compassion and she went over the rainbow bridge with dignity. The staff sent a delightful card of sympathy showing they all are understanding feelings.
