   Absolutely amazing vets I took my banana ball python to them on Saturday and they were incredible - they were so gentle with him and made sure he had all the correct meds to ensure he gets better. Staff we absolutely brilliant, explaining how to administer meds and so friendly will be using this vets again for all my exotics and really reasonably priced !!!!

   Killed my hedgehog, said maybe this, maybe that, didn’t have a clue what was wrong with her, paid for her vet plan thing, wouldn’t cut her nails as included in plan, paid lots of money in medicine that turned out to do nothing for her, she was missing spikes and they just eventually settled on dermatitis when in fact an actual experienced exotic vet I changed over to said she’s had the dreaded wobbly hedgehog syndrome for a while. Also took forever to release her medical forms to the new vet. Would never recommend this place £600 and a dead pet later. I would have paid anything to keep her alive and they just couldn’t be bothered.

   Everything about my experience here was wonderful. The friendly, professional, helpful, caring nurses and vets. and the texts on a special app. together with photos of my guinea pig boar, Montgomery Duke of Fluffolk which kept me immediately informed of every moment of his neutering operation and recovery. The surgery was exemplary. Clean, almost invisible suturing and speedy recovery. The cost included a check up later that week and was so much cheaper than any other vet I know. I highly recommend this specialist practice. Since I wrote this review my guinea pig Monty had to be admitted as an emergency. Another vet had diagnosed a small lump as cancerous but stated that it was inoperable. The lump rapidly grew and, within days, was huge, bleeding and clearly painful. I called Suffolk Exotic Vets and they said bring him right in. They said they would remove the lump immediately. We had taken Monty's companion pig, Jenny, with him to calm him and we were allowed to leave her there to help him recover. She stayed overnight, was housed, fed and spoilt for not one penny extra. I was kept informed of and sent photos of everything on the Pets App which is a great app and so helpful and immediate. Doctor Catherine Thomas who performed the surgery looked after him overnight and was there when we picked him up the next day. His meds were included in the price as was his post op check. The love and care shown towards this little guinea pig was overwhelming as was the care shown for his owners. Monty has recovered very well. His op site is clean and scabbing well and he is the pig he used to be. This is the best veterinary practice I have ever experienced in over 60 years of keeping animals and I would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone who wants highly skilled and caring staff who really know their profession and their animals and who also genuinely care for the owners.

   I found decided to change to this vet after having g multiple 'normal' vets not seem to know what to do with my rats. Since coming here I've felt so much happier in their health. A little more money than a classic vet but so worth every penny due to their expertise. I trust these guys completely. They also have an app for communication which is brilliant.

   We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience and I can't say enough good things about Suffolk Exotic Vets. Recently our bearded dragon fell ill, and prior to this we had only ever had to bring her in for general check-ups, so was a little worried and anxious. Everyone in the practice looked after us ALL incredibly well, not only being my shoulder to cry on, but truly going above and beyond to take extra care to look after our girl with so much love, as if she were their own! Jo and Michaela took time to send photos and updates every day and night that she stayed in the hospital to help me feel better, as well as assisting in ensuring the accurate and stress-free completion of any paperwork. I've never had the privilege of experiencing such passion and heart-felt work at a vet before. Much love and gratitude always, Blink, Michael & Daisy.x

   Suffolk exotic vets is a fantastic vet service that offers 24/7 cover. My sister's rabbit was seriously ill, and the team was amazing!! Communication was above the norm, and we greatly appreciated it. They kept professional, compassionate, easy to talk to, went above and beyond, and loving during a nerve racking time. Unfortunately, the rabbit was so seriously ill and passed away. But thanks to the team, we have a rough idea of why and were able to get rabbit a bit closer to home. I have no idea about cost as this wasn't my rabbit and the vet never hinted to me about cost when I had to be phoned. They lovingly packed her up well for the journey with a puppy pad inside the carrier and her "overnight bag" had a discharge bag of medicine for the receiving vet team. Paperwork was emailed over while I was driving rabbit to receiving vet. Best vet service in a stressful time!! Thank you for everything!! If we ever have to need your service again, we will be back!!

   Really polite staff both on reception and the veterinary nurses. Keep you informed of what they are doing during every step of the way. I've received exceptional service the times I've been with my cockatiel during his illness so far. It's a bit of a way to travel from where I live, but in all honesty I wouldn't go anywhere else!

   I don’t even know where to begin! Suffolk exotic vets is amazing! We had our two female bunnies booked in at a local vet near us for their spay operations, however I was really anxious about it. I hadn’t heard of Suffolk exotic vets until I went onto the RWAF website in search for an Exotic vet and Suffolk Exotic Vets came up. I spoke to Jo and she handled everything! She answered all of my worries and concerns I had, she told me the whole process from start to finish and gave me dates of different vets that were available around the time I needed the appointment. So I booked them in with Catherine! Both Catherine and Jo were amazing with the Girls and Jo kept me updated all throughout the day on the PetsApp. I had a message with an update before I had even got home from dropping them off! She sent pictures of them in recovery, and when they were up and about again. They always put the girls needs first and always did everything they could to make them as comfortable as possible. They then continued to support us throughout recovery and then re-bonding the girls back together. I now have two healthy, happy bunnies, I can not thank and recommend Suffolk Exotic Vets enough!!

   Dangerous vets - incompetent, liars and breach of standards by the RCVS. Took our guinea pig home without our consent, performed X rays that we did not agree to, and practically waited for our guinea pig to die, which she unfortunately did, because all these vets did were administer pain medication. We spoke to other qualified veterinary surgeons who told us there were many other possible interventions, however Suffolk Exotic Vets lied through their teeth that “nothing could be done”. All the vet had to say was that our guinea pig was a “mystery”. Please - do not make the same mistake as we did and bring your pet here.
