Went to get mum magnifying glass after looking for 5 minutes someone from store found on a shelf still packed. I was pleased she found and went over to pay along with my other shopping. They were not able to put through till so told me they have been recalled. I found this hard to believe so I looked up on line and no magnifying glass from Poundland had been recalled in Uk. I did find strange as when I entered the shop the staff members were slagging off customers. Which is ok just not in presence of another customer. Spoilt my day!

Great store. Amazing products at Amazing bargain prices. Friendly customer service and great clean store.

Navigating the store avoiding low quality tat, overpriced smaller serving sizes mixed in with some good deals is all part of the fun. The stores vary their range from town to town, so until you shop you never know what you will find. There doesn't seem to be a "basic range" that they work from, with different own brand products in different stores of a similar size. The Poundland has a Pep&co department selling a range of cheap clothing.

Love this shop, especially Pep&Co. I always get my granddaughter something pretty much every other week. Can't fault the quality across all clothing ranges. They also have an extensive range of homeware & now, after an extension, an excellent range of both fresh & frozen foods. Prices may sometimes be more than a pound but it's still excellent value for money in this time of economic uncertainty.

Excellent choice of goods and I like the layout more than some of the other Poundland I've visited. The clothes section especially is a nice little corner. Staff at Maesteg very friendly and helpful. Mop & tool fell apart minute I used but that's the Poundland risk for you not just this store. Great bargains here on a few occasions. Like a 500g panettone cake for 50p and 6 eggs 25p
