My second time going to this place for my appointment today with mum. I’ve talked with Dr Essayed about my health and well-being, and she took my urine sample and checked my heart and lungs and measured weight. She suggested I’d go to a day centre to make friends and take part in activities; I suggested one day a week for 2026, as well as stuff like the blood test and vaccines for that year, so I can slowly overcome my fear of needles being punctured onto my skin, even though I had one as a baby for neasles. The first was in October with dad for a flu jab and unfortunately argued on the way home to the point of myself actually crying… Was supposed to review it in October but I forgot the actual name and couldn’t find it on Maps. Maybe because I wasn’t looking at it slowly? (first review on this account and 30th one overall as my first one got disabled)

This surgery is a joke. I have never met my doctor in 10 years. after many requests. Dr LAD.. The prescriptions are never signed off by a doctor. They are signed by office managers who have no medical qualifications.. I witnessed the office staff telling the receptionist to change conversations they had with patients over over the phone in order to cover there backs..The receptionist was called Gail. And it was clear Gail felt uncomfortable doing it . . this surgery almost killed me by giving me an over dose of blood pressure medicine..lucky I noticed there mistake. I was given a 24 hour blood pressure monitor of which I didn't wear. The nurse told me my blood pressure came back high .. people must know. The office staff are signing off your prescriptions not the doctors. Oh and be careful of the doctor with bright blue hair. Beeston. She's the one who almost killed me. And manager Sarah Richards is a compulsive liar.

I have been a member of this surgery for 12 years. I can not speak highly enough over how brilliant this doctors surgery has been. All of the staff here are incredible ive had so many possitive experiences over the years, never had a problem with seeing a doctor one time i was worried over my baby, the receptionist gave me suggestions and said if doesnt work ring back, it worked so i didnt need to but she made the effort to ring me back as she knew how distressed i was. My latest experience with a lovely lady shared her own experience with me when i was discussing concerns which is so reasuring she was just so easy to talk to and i felt great after our 20 min chat! just such a lovely place really appreciate them!

The staff are nice, the nurses are nice but why is it so difficult to see a doctor at this surgery?! It’s almost like the doctors do not actually exist. I know how many times I actually met doctors at my previous surgery but the pines is so different. I really need someone to explain why it feels like the doctors at this surgery are non existent. At this rate it’ll be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone to see an actual doctor at the pines

The Pines Management / owners: Please take people's review seriously and employ a competent receptionist!!! Doctors and nurses are not bad - if you'll manage to get through "the wall" - reception. My partner called several times to get help with our newborn babies, the rude and incompetent receptionist tell her that they will call us back - no-one ever did. This is a people health care and cannot be ignored!!!!! Please please please, hire a competent reception staff

I have been a patient at this surgery since moving to the area about 10 years ago. I'm quite fortunate in the sense that I haven't had to make many visits but every time I have they've been spot on. My little one is nearly 5 and has visited a few times and they have always been incredible when he's been concerned. Just before Christmas we thought he had an ear infection, within 1 hour of a phone call we had antibiotics in hand. That level of service is just outstanding. On my most recent visit I spent some time observing the receptionist because she is just amazing. So efficient and helpful. A real credit to the surgery! I'm not sure if I'm just incredibly lucky or if some of the negative reviews are a result of people's expectations but I think this is a wonderful surgery. Always clean and tidy too which is really impressive considering the age of the building.

My one year old developed some worrying symptoms at 6.00pm the evening before Christmas Eve. Called the surgery on the off chance they were still open. Not only did they manage to squeeze us in for a face-to-face appointment, whilst we were in the appointment they checked with the pharmacy to make sure the type of antibiotics they were prescribing were in stock, and made sure we got them before they closed for Christmas. Both the doctor and receptionist went above and beyond, and their approach meant we didn’t spend Christmas in hospital. So appreciative of this doctor’s surgery!

Have been a patient here for about 30 years with no real problems. Doctors, nurses and staff always helpful and friendly. Sometimes the phones are very busy but surely you can't be surprised by that! .

I have only positive things to say about this surgery. They have seen me quite a few times quickly and are always extremely helpful. The staff are friendly and kind, and have always been extremely patient when my children have attended appointments there as well.
