This surgery has gone from bad to worse. Very rude staff and the doctors have absolutely no people skills. You can never get an appointment abd if you do tou are fobbed off to a trainee or pharmacist. A disgrace to Northampton. Patients need compassion, understanding and care. There is none here.

Reception staff are condescending, no compassion and seem to think they are something special. Left my disabled daughter waiting over 10 hours for emergency prescription. Original emergency prescription issued online but because it was a controlled drug it had to be prescribed by the surgery. We contacted at 8.40 am, they left us waiting until after 6pm, by then my daughter had missed 3 lots of medicine but being disabled with learning difficulties was very distressed. We called through the day and the reception staff were not only rude but condescending like they thought they were something special. Tried to complain and received a counter complaint for getting upset as I felt unheard and didn't know how to help my child. Absolutely gone down hill since Dr Smart and other caring doctors left. Moved surgery, have had no issues since and I realise what a poor service Leicester terrace is.

I'm in shock at how horrendous this place has got... And no not just the really rude receptionist who basically calls you a liar if her computer doesn't have the information you're trying to talk to her about.. no. The actual Dr (I won't name and shame but he'll know) I've never been spoken to so rudely by any Dr and made to feel unbelievably anxious which I can tell you is not helping my already ill health... What has happened to this surgery? I've been at this practice for absolute years and never had a problem like this... I'm not only moving surgery I'm also seeking help privately which I can't afford but I'm desperate for help.. I will also be talking to the ombudsman as press ... Avoid this place

The receptionists are superb, so helpful and aware of your needs, not just when signing in but also while you are waiting. I screamed with leg pain and the receptionist Immediately asked the do tor to come down and see me in the ground floor doctors room. Very impressed with interactions with them on phone and in person. Doctor running late but in my opinion a sign that he/she listened to patients. Took time to listen to me.

Receptionists are completely and consistently unhelpful. Trying to get an emergency prescription put through and 2 days of chasing it and the receptionist blankly said “you have to call back and press option 3” after spending in total 3:45 mins on hold over the two days. Absolutely unhelpful and quite frankly rude.

I’d give it less than 1 if I could. When I was around 16 I went to the doctors in excruciating pain and explained how I’m unable to do any activities or even sleep because the pain was so bad. I was adamant that it was sciatica due to a fall that had happened. Despite showing all the symptoms the male doctor laughed in my face, I literally mean laugh. He told me I’m “too young to have sciatica” and told me to go and lift weights at the gym. Me being young and naive I listened, yep you guessed it my back went in the gym leaving me bed bound for a few days. I had to keep pushing to eventually get referred to physio. My question is, how can you just throw medication at someone and refer them to physio without any type of scan? Surely that is dangerous and could potentially aggravate the problem more. Which it did, physio would leave me bed bound for a couple days after. This experience has put me off ever going to the doctors. It’s not the first time this doctor has shamed me, I have a few health problems and I dismiss them now due to this joke of a place. Not to mention I found my own mother dead a few months ago because no one listens at this s**t excuse of a doctors surgery. All of you that have had good experiences are very lucky, it’s a miracle how anyone has anything good to say about this joke of a place. Don’t even get me stared on the reception, maybe start with hiring people who actually have empathy. As someone who works in healthcare this place needs a whole new system, it’s absolutely appalling.

It has taken me over 2 weeks to get an appointment and only if I take a day off work and wait for a ‘maybe’ if you ring on the day. They used to be much easier to see before bloody Covid and lockdown. However the staff and service are excellent.

Can’t fault the level of care from reception to clinical staff. Used online form this morning, offered face to face appointment with doctor, who treated me and avoided admission to hospital. We all understand the pressure the health service is under however LTHCC has always delivered excellent care to my family.

The reception is rude Have been calling 3 days in a row from 8am no luck 3 hours wasted managed to get through to reception Asked to speak to a gp or get an appointment but was advised to call in the morning. Requested to speak to a gp regarding scan. Did get a call but I missed it called back asap. Receptionist called clare kept repeating that I had missed a call and spoke to me as if I had committed a crime. Vert bad towards patients and rude receptionists . This surgery has gone down hill Zero stars

Has to be the worst surgery every, it is almost impossible to book an appointment with them and reception staff are just rude, they often just hung up on you.. I was trying to get an appointment since coronavirus, they refused every time. I had to go private and spend several thousands, doctor said that with my condition I would need blood tests once or twice a year, and tried to contact my GP to advise this, so they can book it in, receptionists just hung up on the doctor. Doctor then wrote a letter to my GP, they ignored it. I am trying to make an appointment to speak to a GP to see if blood tests can be arranged. They never book me in, saying that this is not urgent and they will not book me in, as they only have "same day appointments", but there is no way for me to speak to a GP because they wont book you in advance, only have same day appointments and apparently routine visits etc.. are not part of it. Absolutely bizzare
