The Hotel was good but the Stonehouse Restaurant next door had issues. Kitchen staff need to learn to read orders the ginger haired lady needs to learn some basic manners and trained on how to handle customers complaints/ questions. New member been there just 2 days had more about her than the ginger haired waitress.
This hotel is great value for money. Excellently located to be able to reach London for work. The rooms are clean and aren’t even that small. The staff are super helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed two nights and would happily stay again if in the area. The receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable, good beds and it had everything you expect. Good value for money.
Had a lovely , peaceful one night stay. Great location. The pub and restaurant adjacent was closed for refurbishment but did not bother us as we were visiting family , but will look forward to trying it next time. Rooms were comfortable. Little extra touches ...fridge , microwave, hairdryer, bath and shower gel ( nice product). Lovely large , very comfy bed . A great walk from hotel and right on the canal. We will return. Thank you
The hotel is so nice with a water view. Rooms are comfortable with microwave and tea and coffees and tv. Right next door to restaurant. Parking is very good. Everyone is so friendly. Would definitely come back again when I'm up this way.
What a fantastic little hotel! I'm staying here for 5 nights for a training course and so far it's been a wonderful experience. The receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived. She suggested if I want a carvery I should go straight away as they were about to stop food so I went straight to the restaurant. I got there just in time. If she hadn't mentioned it I would have missed it so I am very grateful to her because I was absolutely starving. The room is lovely with a spotless bathroom, and there is a nice view of the long boats on the marina. There is a microwave in the room, and a little fridge with a small freezer compartment inside. The fridge isn't one of those rubbish little things you usually find in hotel rooms. It keeps my diet coke freezing cold. They provide cutlery, glasses and plates but no bowls so I brought my own. They provide sachets of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and some biscuits. It's currently minus 4° outside but my room is nice and warm. I was in a rush to leave yesterday morning and left my bed unmade and was expecting to return to the mess I'd left. But they had cleaned my room and changed the towels while I was out. They made my bed and even lined up the stuffed toys my teenager insisted I bring with me. The restaurant next door is really nice and reasonably priced. The hotel does sell some breakfast boxes and snacks but I haven't tried them yet. If I had to come here again I would definitely stay in this hotel. It's very well priced and the bed is one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in. It's so nice and quiet here as well. I almost don't want to leave!
Such a lovely hotel to stay in the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much to ask for and Julia makes you feel very welcome. Beds are super comfy had the best sleep ever and is located in a beautiful area. 10/10 would love to visit again. Thankyou
Everything was brilliant including the staff where nothing was too much trouble. Comfy bed, VERY clean rooms and so many extras. A fridge with wine glasses inside, a microwave and crockery/cutlery in your room. Great idea! The breakfast box was the best I've ever had for quality and value. Will definitely return.
Right by the canal with walks on both sides. Beautiful in summer, in winter it's whole different experience. Went to PTBridge Inn for late breakfast and we very much enjoyed it. Try it sometime and look outside the windows you'll see lots of barges. Lovely
