A lovely technology detox weekend away in a beautiful setting. The hosts, Hannah & Will were lovely and welcoming giving us a full run down of the place and how everything works. The rooms were clean, spacious and had everything we needed for the weekend. The kids were super excited about the bunk beds and staying in the farm with no electricity. My son learned how to build a fire and became an expert at this by night 2. First night we'd pre-ordered a lamb tagine... Wowsers, this was fantastic. Compliments to Hannah for a lovely heart warming delicious meal. We also pre-ordered some breakfast pastries that were lovely. Pizza night was lovely. It became the central hub for everyone staying to get together and socialise. The quality of the produce was excellent and flavoursome. The kids really enjoyed pizza night and made friends. We rented guinea pigs too, which the kids loved and took care of for the weekend. There is lovely little honesty shop on the farm with your essentials but also some homemade treats. The kids loved the brownies. We had a lovely walk and rented the bikes to tour the local area, which was great. It's worth visiting the charity village. It has a lovely charity shop with antiques and lots of books to buy. We also stopped for some famous Riverdale Dairy ice cream, which was yummy. The farm has chickens and the kids even managed to get 2 eggs, which we poached for breakfast. There are some pigs, which we fed some scraps too as well. Overall, this was a lovely weekend away from our normal hectic and busy lives and we were able to recharge and connect over walks, log fires and board game as a family.

Weβve been to four other Featherdown sites and this one is the best. Great place for mountain bike rides along grassy bridleways. But also useful to have bikes to get from tent to farm shop/animals/charging point.

We are day two of a four day stay and our long weekend has already hit 5 stars. Hannah and Will have a very well organised set up. Easy to find, Will met us on arrival and gave us all the info and transported our kit down to our lodge/hut. We unloaded the kids and followed along the 5 minutes walk to our accommodation. The lodges are great, rustic, comfortable, well equipped, sleeps us (2A 3CH) easily, sofa, table, log burner/stove, hot shower, drinking water. We had our guinea pigs waiting in their cage outside our lodge, kids have been petting them constantly. Crates of firewood were also waiting for us, a create per night complementary. The lodges are hard to describe but are wooden floored, half canvas (overhead) and half wood, a semi permanent structure. Sheep and chickens in fields and barn and generally all over the place, so great for the kids. Kids enjoyed pony grooming this morning and have been proudly wearing their ribbons award all day - thanks Poppy. Will and Hannah cooked pizza in the outdoor brick oven this evening and take the process in their stride. Clearly all 5 or 6 families were very happy with their evening meal. Pizza is delicious, Iβm finishing it off now as I write this review. Itβs been raining all weekend and weβve had so much fun weβve hardly noticed! Thank you both for a great (first half of) trip... Mike

Perfect glamping holiday. Enough comfort balanced with all the benefits of a go slow camping holiday. The kids love the go karts, cuddle barn and space. They team up with kids from other tents and go explore the woods etc. We ordered food from the owners each night and it was delicious (Lasagne, Lamb Tagine, Cottage Pie and Of course Pizza night) we loved the outdoor communal table and enjoyed most evenings there with happy kids and red wine fuelled adults. Thanks Will & Hannah, we will be back.

Wonderful time had by the family. Very family friendly and lovely hosts. Cannot recommend enough. Rabbits, horses, a dog and Guinea pigs to pet, even the chickens will let you fuss them! Will definitely come back

If your looking for a warm welcome then this place isn't for you. Facilities and concept were brilliant but we were made to feel like somewhat of an inconvenience. Sadly for this reason I would not recommend.
