   We recently had the pleasure of hosting a meditation retreat at CMDC and it was truly a wonderful experience. The conference facilities were peaceful and serene, providing the perfect setting for our mindfulness activities. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented, with a tranquil atmosphere that helped our guests relax and unwind. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was exceptional. A special shout-out to Fran who went above and beyond to ensure our event ran smoothly. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and warm smile made a huge difference to our experience. And let's not forget the food! The catering team provided delicious, wholesome meals that were tailored to our dietary needs, and the presentation was impressive. The food was a lovely complement to our meditation practice. Overall, I highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

   Friendly welcome and an excellent location by the university, 15 mins to Bedford or Milton Keynes. Peaceful nights sleep, good wifi coverage, slightly dated room, gym, small pool and sauna open early to make a pleasant start to the day and an excellent breakfast with plentiful and diverse options.

   I had a very disappointing experience. After leaving the property, I realised I had left an item in the room and immediately contacted the staff the same day. Despite multiple calls and emails over the next two weeks, I received no response. Eventually, I was told nothing was found which raises very serious questions about how guest belongings are handled. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable, and it left me with no confidence in the staff’s honesty or professionalism. I would strongly caution future guests to be aware of this before booking.

   Had a one night stay here over a weekend in July and have to say it was a really good experience all round. Free car parking made it easy and the staff were friendly and professional. Room was smart and well equipped and clean as was the bathroom. The 24 hr coffee machine in the lounge area was very welcome. Big shout out to Molly for sorting a problem out for us. Great place to stay, will certainly use them again.

   It was an excellent facility, which I stumbled upon whilst looking for accommodation in the area. The reception was informative, friendly, and hassle free. The room was spot on in size, lay-out and usual necessities. Wifi was excellent around the building. The restaurant served a brilliant breakfast well above the price i paid. The bar had a reasonable selection and averagely priced. All of the staff were cheerful and very willing to please. I will definitely be using this accommodation again.

   Was expecting a better room than Mitchell as prices are slightly higher. Ended up missing Mitchell even in the first minute. The aircon is too noisy and not even possible to sleep with it on. It is also useless because a bunch of cold air rushes in through the gaps on the side! And what's more, the aircon broke down the second day. The card reader on the door stopped working on the second day as well. At least the cheerful staff sorted afterwards. The room is worse than and more expensive than Mitchell. Go to Mitchell and don't waste your money here!

   My stay was for leisure. This place feels and looks like a conference or business centre, which seemingly is the main function of the place. As a person staying overnight, the room I was in was function, as it includes the amenities expected. I did feel the decor was a little dated. Also, the layout was a compromise, with the desk so close to the bed, and the TV at an awkward angle. The restaurant, bar and extra seating areas are plentiful, playing into the conference/business aspect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location depends on the person. For me it was ideal as it was closer to where I needed to be.
