Nice large open field with plenty of space although toilets and showers not very clean and pretty run down,we fell fowl of the no radio/tv rule and were told quite aggressively to turn it off, another of our group took a wrong turn in the drive way and was shouted at so we won't be returning which is a shame as it could be a great campsite.

We stayed at Summerfield camp site last weekend with our 2 little boys. We had a lovely time. The owners were super lovely and very helpful and the facilities were very clean. There is also a really nice pub with great food across the road. I would definitely recommend this campsite, it's a great hub for exploring the area.

We have just finished our 5 night stay camping, the owners were friendly, the place was lovely and clean and well kept and just a lovely relaxed atmosphere here. We only came across this site looking for someone not to far from home to stay and glad we did as its a real hidden gem and the kids absolutely loved it here. We will definitely be returning again.

Great campsite. I have stayed in many, many campsites in both the UK and abroad and this is honestly one of the very best: - Flat and soft pitch - Quiet, away from road - Excellent and clean amenities - Chill out barn with sofas, stereo and tea making facilities on tap, as the host said 'if it all gets a bit too much', wonderful :) - Child friendly, tractors and horses to look at/ admire - kids love that stuff! - Superb award winning country pub across the road - Well priced - Beautiful surroundings - Helpful and friendly hosts - Campfires allowed - Electric hook-up available if needed Basically ticks all the boxes, which is rare. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Another great camping weekend. This is our 3rd visit. Each stay we've stayed for two nights. We Love the amount of space for each pitch and that it's not strict on exactly where & how you pitch your tents. Also love the amount of space for playing games. Toilets, showers & washing up area were clean even though there was the most campers we'd ever seen at this campsite. We will definitely return again. The only recommendation we have is that a sign needs to be out closer to the road as you can't actually see the campsite name until you turn into the drive and it is very easily missed. Thank you.

Had such a lovely stay away! Owner was super helpful and really accommodating: when it was cold weather he provided us with warmer shelter; let use his fridge; and in all made the camping experience really enjoyable. Lovely walks nearby and the local pub is fantastic. Facilities were superb, very clean and warm. Lots to do nearby as-well. Definitely reccomend and will use the campsite again!

Great campsite! Owners very relaxed, no set pitches, just park up where you can. Lovely working farm, beautiful scenery. Lovely pub just over the road. Relaxed vibe. The evening wasnβt so great but thatβs no fault of the owners, other campers were so so noisy up until gone 2am despite the campsite rules of being quiet after 9:30.

Great campsite. Owner makes sure it's not crammed like other sites and kids have plenty of space to play. Good flat meadow that you can pitch where you like. Owners also do breakfast rolls on Sunday mornings saving you the hassle of cooking n cleaning whilst packing up. Nice pub over the road and the site supplies fire pits and logs. Pretty much the perfect site and I wouldn't hesitate to go back!!
