We had an issue with one of the showers that leaked through the ceiling below meaning we couldn't use it for the week we were there but other than that it was a lovely house to stay in. Getting there was a bit of a mission due to the roads but ultimately a beautiful place.
Lovely old lodge, fantastic views and location and space for our group / party. Rooms do need some TLC though, there was damp and mould in places, windows were dirty and high levels / skirting had lots of cobwebs and dust, carpets were stained too, could do with a deep clean / replacement. Didn't detract from having a lovely weekend stay, but just a bit more attention to detail / cleanliness would really have enhanced the stay.
Excellent venue for a large family gathering. All bedrooms are a good size. It's a little tired but looks like they are working their way through sorting rooms out.

Signal was horrible and so was the WiFi. Insanely bad reception to communicate to family members.
What a fantastic venue in a stunning setting in the middle of the countryside, it has everything you need. Perfect for large family gatherings or getting together as friends. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!
What a great place to stay in! Very nice features and big enough for our group of 9 adults and 4 children. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so did not feel crowded at any time. Kitchen, dining room were lovely and the living room set out nicely for an evenings relaxation near the open fire. Some elements could do with updating and the fridge space needs to be bigger considering the amount of people the place caters for. Would still definately return as those small things do not take anything away from the overall house.
