The spa experience was fantastic. Everything was clean, and the locker rooms had hair dryers and a dryer for wet swimsuits. There was a large pool, a steam room, a sauna, a jacuzzi, and lounge chairs for relaxing. There was also a great bar nearby. I highly recommend it.
Men's charging room is being used by Ladies, as their changing room is being refurbished. This currently means very limited changing facilities for men, i.e. only a single shower. I'm looking forward to things getting back to normal.
Great little heath club. Has well equipped and well maintained gym with a lovely pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. Bonus of studio looking out over fields. They do reasonable day membership (£12.50) and so great if you’re passing. Would have given 5 stars but changing rooms let them down at little. Overdue a refurb but in meantime it would be nice if they gave them a lick of paint, filled the holes in the paster and gave the place a deep clean. For example a bit of mould in showers but no worse than you’d find at most Virgin Active sites.
