Lovely park and pond great play area for the little ones, cafe in the park and pub and town centre couple of minutes walk through park.
Diss Park is a wonder park, there is The Mere too, a small lake with ducks and birds. If you like fish is a good option to go, is by the town centre so, you can have a nice walk around the place and enjoy the friendly people, the local shops and the beauty of the place. Is a wonderful place in Diss, Nortfolk. I recommend that you go to visit one day.
Diss park is well kept, with public toilets, small cafe and range of play equipment for the children. It is along the lake.
A lovely place to go for a walk or just chill around. Also good for kids as they have a play area and even some picnic tables. It could have some improvements, but it is very clean, beautiful and pleasant.
Great play area for all children. All in good condition. Walking distance by the mere from the town centre. Parking 1st hour is free but still need a ticket.
Went for an event, Glow in the Park, which was a brilliant free event to celebrate the platinum jubilee. On a normal day the park makes a great focal point for a visit or a day out with a wide range of play equipment, plenty of space, ducks on the mere, ice creams, access to the town centre shops and toilet facilities close by.
We love coming to Diss Park. The recent upgrade to the park area is lively and is more accessible for younger and older children. There are toilets located nearby to the park and also there is a car park that is free in Sundays and bamk holidays. Also just a few steps away from the park is the mere so this is always lovely to go and feed the ducks or just watch them. The little cafe located on the park has recently begun offering free duck food with a purchase from them which sells hot drinks, cold drinks ice creams etc.
Lovely open space with a beautiful fountain and plenty of wildlife in the 6 acre size mere. New modern Children's play area was well used by all the children including a zip wire ground level trampoline, and climbing frame.
