I have always been a great supporter of this establishment and frequently recommend it to others. On Friday 12th December I visited the butchers as usual, mainly the deli. counter. No one was serving, there was a young lad serving the butchers counter. I waited ten minutes and eventually the young lad when he had finished serving came to serve me by which time a queue had formed at the deli to pay for other goods as the main service till was not manned. When he finished serving me I then had to join a long que of people whom had all arrived after me. To say I was not happy is an understatement. This is not a way to run an establishment.

2 pints of milk, a red and yellow pepper, bunch of spring onions, 4 bread rolls and 4 slices of ham = £10.72. The onions were about £1.45. I thought locally grown/baked produce would be cheaper. Won't be going back. I hate using places like Aldi but their spring onions are 45p. It's not even a treat as the quality isn't great.

Bought a lamb shank here today. Got home noticed it had a bit of a greenish patch so I smelt it and it had a very strange odour, not like what I am used to with fresh lamb. Those 2 signs were enough to make me chuck it in the bin. Not to bothered abut the money more the inconvenience. And yeah the butcher is rude I agree. Go to Archers instead this place is a dodgy I’m not going back ever again!

Bought some sausages that fell apart when cooked. Sausages are not supposed to fall apart. Apart from that what was left was tasty mainly from the salt they included. Would I go back there ? No chance.

10.01.2024 Good food and not over priced. Good selection of hot food and cakes. Cafe was busy which is always a good sign.

This was our first visit to the farm shop and we were not disappointed! There was quality meat, produce and banter. The meat is fantastic quality and the Butchers know their cuts, it's not cheap but quality rarely is.

Incredible place! Highest quality farm shop we’ve found in the UK, combined with friendly, helpful staff. Highly recommend.
