   Dropped by for a coffee on my journey home yesterday. Wasn’t till I jumped in the car that I took a sip and was blown away by the taste. I mean I’ve had good coffee before from all over the world. But the taste sensation of my Americano was next level. Enough so that I’m leaving a 5⭐️ review. I asked during general chit chat with the server what batch of coffee they are brewing with. His answer I can’t quite remember but it was not currently being sold as a bean variety in the shop and was being roasted. Thanks!

   It's simply perfect. I told the gentleman what style of coffee I liked, my brew method and he made an excellent recommendation. Bom jesus, anaerobic processed, it's delicious. They even offered to grind for my method but I like to do that myself and tinker with the grind size. I had an espresso pulled also and it was bright and gorgeous.

   The coffee that they use for lattes in the roaster place (not the coffee shop - at the coffee shop they use just house blend) is just fantastic. It had bourbon notes and a very interesting rich flavor without bitterness. I liked it so much that I bought the same beans for my homebrew filter and brought them to London.

   The coffee is consistently good. I've not had a miss on a coffee here yet. I recommend Strangers if you like more modern tasting espresso. They make a good Mocha too (quite sweet, but with a lot of coffee flavor). The quality is consistent across hot and iced drinks.

   This is a review for the Dove St Strangers The lasts couple of times I have been, I have been served by the same guy. A slightly older gent who is just unfriendly. Really blunt, never says Thank you and just not very good at customer service. Genuinely putting me off going back. The coffee is always great at Strangers, but would steer clear of the Dove St location, and go to one the other locations who have friendly staff.

   Wonderful coffee! The owners and the baristas are so knowledgeable about the coffee and we have never been disappointed. The smell of coffee roasting draws you towards the roastery on Dove Street and the coffee is fantastic.
