   Quick update: The foot traffic this pharmacy has might be huge and has impacted their delivery of medication on a few occasions, based on this, despite their kindness and genuine support, had to relocate. This update does not impact my initial review, as they do their best. (end of edit) Every time I've called this pharmacy, Ive received a pleasant person on the other side! My Flabber is gasted at the poor reviews as this has not been our experience at all! I think one needs to bear in mind that NOT every patient is sunshine and rainbows, and that patients tend to have Very high expectations of those who serve others, whilst NOT meeting their OWN high standards themselves! (Likewise, the same can be true for professionals) This is A gentle reminder to give GRACE to those who serve others, as they are all doing their best, so that we all can have the best. Today I spoke with Caroline, who was efficient, respectful, astute and kind. Overall a joy to speak to. Rowlands Pharmacy, Thank you for your service! Kindest

   I would definitely recommend switching from this pharmacy to the one at the top of Newton road. I switched recently and the experience is night and day compared to Rowlands. I find Rowlands pharmacy to be short of customer service, in fact any form of contact with a customer. Not very good traits for a business that relies on customers, I honestly believe they feel they have a captive audience and that you have to use them. Life is so much easier at Harborouugh Fields.

   Beware this pharmacy. I did not read the reviews and rarely write one but I felt I needed to in this case to warn people. This place is a disgrace. I have been here 3 months and had to use a pharmacy a few times. I thought they were just having a bad day, or very busy but today after waiting 30 minutes for a single item prescription I was abruptly told that they pharmacist had been busy with a patient. Like this is an acceptable explanation! If the pharmacist is busy then all they need to do is say there's a delay. Not difficult. These staff must have experienced customer service in many environments, if they cannot be bothered to take make a bit of effort get a different job! I have moved away from this shower to a different pharmacy.would be ready because I had been waiting so long and h this morning

   I went to this chemist yesterday to pick up my pre ordered (Patient Access) repeat prescription and when I got home realised it was the wrong prescription. When I returned the wrong prescription today I was apologised to and asked if I wanted to make a complaint to which I obviously refused. I would just like to say I have been using Parklands Surgery and collecting my repeat prescriptions monthly from Rowlands Pharmacy in Rushden since it opened on Wymington Road and I can honestly say this is the first time this has ever happened so all these negative reviews about this Chemists service etc I find very hard to believe. Apart from the odd wait now & then (which is surely expected) I personally cannot fault the staff Rowlands. We do not know see what goes on behind the scenes, perhaps the staff have been given extra duties etc etc. Keep up the good work Rowlands Pharmacy!

   Visited Rowlands on Friday afternoon and want to say a big thank you to the staff, as the meds that I had ordered only 3 days before, we’re ready to collect! Also, the staff that served myself and other customers, were welcoming, helpful and friendly. After seeing many negative reviews about the service provided, I just want people to know that they definitively do not reflect the service I received today.

   First time visit today, I read the reviews yesterday and thought I only need one item, it’ll be fine regardless of the many negative things I read. I moved to the area almost 2 months ago, I needed cream for my sons eczema. My previous gp had given me enough for 2 months as they know it’s hard for me to get out for personal reasons. I went to collect the cream which I requested through nhs direct since my new gp needs to see my son before they issue it and It’s been difficult getting appointments with them. The pharmacist went on to shame me saying I had plenty of time to sort this out, and for some reason I have to pay for the cream. There was no need to embarrass me. He doesn’t know my life or what’s going on, why I’ve found it hard to get this done. Very disappointed. Will not be going again

   nothing wrong with the quite friendly staff and helpful. there is no permanent pharmacist, they are all locums.. aren't ever here really and then the staff can't give out perscriptions, can't sell you anything not their fault. Oh avoid 1pm to 2pm as the locum pharmacist goes on lunch after he turns out an hour late..

   Awful pharmacy. What is the point of being open for the hour the pharmacist isn’t there so no medications can be handed out? Been with this pharmacy for about a year and for the first few times I had to pick up my prescription had no problems, all at about 1pm. The last 3 times I’ve arrived at the same time (1pm) and been told the pharmacist is on their lunch and so I can’t collect my medication until they return. The first time I was silly enough to wait what I was told would be 10 minutes and it turned out I stood there for about half an hour, wasting the majority of my lunch break. Just gone in again, yet again pharmacist isn’t there so another day without my prescription. Not really sure why they don’t have lunch cover or why they’re open without a pharmacist when they can’t hand out any prescriptions other than over the counter. Will be switching ASAP.
