Apart from one lovely chap (tall, short blonde hair 40’s) , the staff are really RUDE, impersonal and clearly think they are doing you a favour by being there. TERRIBLE service - the management should be ashamed

Terrible customer service at this pharmacy unfortunately. In the last year or so of collecting regular prescriptions from here I have had the experience of being argued with, huffed and puffed at and talked over by unsmiling unsupportive staff. In my most recent visit I was advised that they were 'short staffed' as an excuse for raising their voice at me. I think the staff forget that they are supposed to be providing a service to the community, and I should be able to go a pick up a prescription without receiving this treatment and being made to feel that I am an inconvenience to them. If I could have left a zero star review I would do. I have consequently voted with my feet and requested for my prescriptions to be sent elsewhere and I would recommend others do the same.

Always poor customer service experience at this pharmacy. They’re closed for lunch hours between 1-2pm daily which you only get to know when you go there. This times aren’t mentioned on the website. And when they open the door after 2 pm, they say wait 5 minutes so they’re ready to serve!! What about the patients’ time and discomfort?

Absolutely disgusted today ! Only half my prescription given to my daughter for me ! Called to asked where the rest was ? Had a snotty woman on phone , to which she said she look into it ! Then accused my daughter for not asking for the right things ! How the hell should she know them she picking up for me ? Then said oh okay so it’s here come back down please , I said I can’t I’m not mobile at all and daughter gone back to work ! I want it delivered now ? Oh no we don’t do that !! Then she hung up on me , no one answering since . Took me about 20 mins to get through the first time or more ! Dunno if the recognised my number but it was cut of twice n left to ring the rest of time Was on hold for more than half an hour every time ! So please tell me how a wheelchair bound person should get their prescription. Many Thanks

We have been using this pharmacy for many years, in the last 6-8 months seemed to be improving, however been back this morning it appears they are now back to preparing your script when you go to collect, rather than preparing it when they get it direct from the doctors surgery, which was over a week ago. The assistant was rude and very unhelpful and the 3 persons behind the pharmacy counter appeared to be doing nothing with no urgency what so ever. If the head office reads this review could you please provide suitable staff that are helpful and not rude, and pharmacist, who actually enjoy their job and want to help the general public.

My recent visit was not very pleasant. I had a repeat prescription which my GP sent directly to the pharmacy so I didn't get a chance to see until I paid and collected the medicines. When I checked, the gp has prescribed an additional medicine so I took it straight back to the counter which didn't go very well with the cashier and she started to make faces and tried to humiliate me in front of everyone even though it wasn't my fault. I would try to avoid this pharmacy next time.

Usually an absolutely lovely pharmacy but my recent experience was very different. The assistant serving me told me that screens and masks were no longer necessary and she then decided that she could not hear me say my name due to the fact that I was wearing a mask. At no point over the last two years have I had this experience and I am a very clear speaker. I also wonder whether this assistant has spent the last two years telling customers that she cannot understand them or whether she has simply decided to pick on masked people. MK Village Practice next door insist people continue to wear masks and I would imagine many people use the pharmacy from there. As I say, this is usually a pleasant place to visit and David especially is very helpful but recently I was left feeling a nuisance because I was wearing a mask!

TLDR: chose a different pharmacy, I will. Don't bother unless you want to waste 1+ hour waiting. They only make up prescriptions if you go and wait, never pre made even after 2+ weeks of waiting. They have a backlog so big (weeks) they will never catch up as they refuse to do any overtime and it's been like this for months. Often they don't have stock of less common drugs (which is ok I get that you can't stock everything) but when they order in more, they don't reserve it against your prescription so if you go a week later, they have probably ran out again so you have to wait longer. Or they didn't order enough to cover the prescription. Also they close for an hour each lunchtime (you know the one time that working people have to collect a prescription) why they can't stagger their lunchtimes like any other customer facing company baffles me. Nor do they open on weekends. Also they have moved away from recyclable paper bags, to non recyclable plastic ones Terribly managed, and apparently most of the previous staff quit do to hating it there.

Literally queueing round the block. Impossible for the disabled who cannot stand to queue! Prescription not ready eventually told its lost. Staff eventually found it told to come back later. 2 hr wait in car for queue to die down! Seems to have been a complete change of staff for the worse. Definitely not recommended. The worst ever customer service . The best ever way to loose customers Jardines! Regular customer lost. Lesson learned . Boots next time.
