   I am very frustrated with the level of service at Boots Kingsthorpe (Northampton). I booked a winter flu jab appointment not once, not twice, but three separate times and every single appointment was cancelled at the very last minute, only when I arrived in person. Each time I was given a different excuse: • The pharmacist isn’t available today. • The pharmacist didn’t turn up. • The pharmacist is on holiday. Not once did I receive a courtesy call, text, or email to inform me ahead of time, even though they clearly had my booking details. It feels incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful of customers’ time. To make it worse, this is not the first year this has happened, the exact same situation occurred last year. At this point, it’s hard to trust this branch for anything time-sensitive or appointment-based. If Boots offers an online booking system, then the branch should be capable of honouring appointments or at the very least contacting patients if there are staffing issues. Very disappointed, and I will be avoiding this location going forward.

   The service is very poor here feel really humiliated as the prescription, my address was both shouted out for everyone to hear. I asked for a bag and they then shouted out my prescription again. Just very disappointed overall and won’t be using this pharmacy again.

   Every time I walk in the shop it is incredibly under stocked, shelves are empty particular the makeup stalls, I came to look for mascara multiple times and was told there is a delivery but we are going to replenish soon. The whole store needs an overhaul and redesign.

   Great experience at Boots Kingsthorpe yesterday. Was advised to visit by 111, as I needed some antibiotics prescribing and the GP was closed. Was quickly seen by the pharmacist, and prescription was sorted then and there. Really friendly helpful employees. Thank you.

   Absolutely rubbish service. So miserable. Especially the lady with short brown hair and glasses. Nothing is ever her fault. Feel sorry for the pharmacist’s who have to work with her.
