   Only went to the upstairs function room for a party but from what I saw, the place needs a makeover asap. Lovely old Victorian/Edwardian style features over the stage area but just looks tired in general. Car park is not the biggest but there's side roads you could probably park in. Not suitable for people with mobility problems as there are steep stairs. Easy to find if you aren't from the area.

   Lovely place, and a really friendly, family orientated team that work there. We have our booked our wedding reception their and everything was booked and planned with such ease, despite being very last minute. John has provided exceptional service with the hiring of function rooms etc
