   I've only recently started running and this was my first pair of fitted shoes. The staff were super helpful, supported me to try on so many different shoes and narrow it down to a pair that fitted perfectly. Unfortunately they then didn't have any dark colours in my size, but the lady wrote all of the details down so I could order online. My shoes arrived last week and yesterday I ran my first ever 10k, with no niggles at all. I didn't catch the name of the person that helped me, but the lady with the blue asics, you know who you are!

   I went to get some last minute questions answered prior to participating in the GNR 7.9.25. As always the staff are very helpful, ready to listen to all my questions, while at the same time giving much encouragement. It was like meeting up with a friend I hadn't seen for a while - true because I live in Nottingham and the same could be said of this branch too.

   I walked into this store last week and was greeted by Suzie. She was so welcoming and lovely and you can freely talk to her about your choices of footwear and what you like and what you don’t like. I ended up buying a nice pair of Asics running shoes and love them already, they are very comfortable and has been very smooth while running. Thanks to Suzie, I now own a nice pair of running shoes.

   I'd heard that the MK Up and Running was a great shop with excellent service so travelled here from Oxford and was not disappointed. Both saleswomen were brilliant (sorry, I didn't catch their names), really knowledgeable and helpful, and they spent time and care with me to help get the right running shoes for my upcoming marathon, as well as giving useful advice on race fuelling. Definitely worth the trip.

   Very knowledgeable staff, no pretentiousness just good advice. Gait analysis avaliable (you don't need an appointment) with many footwear options avaliable but no pressure to buy. I had a really thorough analysis done and it was far superior to any other running shop I've been analysed in, staff made me feel valued and most importantly took time to talk to me about my running style, training plan and past injuries. I would highly recommend visiting Up & Running and wouldn't go anywhere else.
