   Went to the store today to purchase what I had been looking at on line. Could not believe that I was followed around the store like a shop lifter by an older member of staff. wherever I went he was next to me pretending to be arranging clothes. I was in to spend over £800 on goods, but left and went to another store. I would not recommend this store due to the staff

   Wished to change boots in warranty. All dealt with efficiently through email and I even got to say thanks to the guy who responded initially . Total exchange carried out under warranty without an issue. But the boots were leaking walking through grass so my case was genuine.

   Very disappointing.. staff with little knowledge of the products they are selling . Stood around waiting for a member of staff to help with walking boots, finally went and found a member of staff after 10 minutes.. pointless !! confused.. when asked to show waterproof trousers, showed me water repellent, and then said they where mostly waterproof. Sad it used to be an amazing shop,

   A large unit shared with Trek and Costa with free parking and if your really hungry a McDonald’s and a Burger King right next door. Good range of everything for outdoor adventurers. You name it and they seem to stock it. Large area for shoes and trekking footwear and even a little test area. Staff are knowledgeable as I was taught all about boots and the various materials they are made of and whats good for different activities. The assistant knew his stuff. That knowledge is something you just cannot get on the internet without a lot of searching. You also can’t try clothing on online which is vital when buying outdoors apparel. Well worth a visit.
