Food was good. I echo an earlier reviewer; the slates could be warmed. To be fair, the side salad would not work so well on a warm slate. I had the Chicken BLT sandwich - came out well with fresh ingredients. Both my daughters had the BLT bagel and liked it. Decent hot chocolate and cappuccino.
The food was okay but not amazing. Two of us went for the waffles with bacon and syrup, a cold drink and a coffee. Tips for improvement would be. - Serving hot food on ice cold slates made the food cold before it even left the kitchen. Warming the slate first would make a big difference. - Any decent cafe should be able to do a poached egg without having to use a horrible mould which produces a hockey-puck egg that was over cooked by the time it was cut into. - We were not offered a glass / ice for our bottles of Coke. - The latte wasn’t that good. The foam was poorly done so it ended up being overly frothy with none of the sheen/gloss you get from nicely done microfoam. - The menu stated that the bacon and syrup was available as pancakes but the waiter at the till said they don’t do pancakes.
Cozy café in the city center, with good coffee and snacks. Nice calm music in the background. Neat and clean. Also courteous and polite staff.
We went in here on the spur of the moment. So glad we did. Food was nice and very reasonably priced. Very comfy seating and lovely staff. Will be returning for sure.
Really excellent service from Cafe Creo for my friends birthday lunch. The food was fresh and delicious and they delivered straight to the door. Really reasonably priced and so easy to arrange. I highly recommend. Have used them before and definitely will again.
It is a new place, it is very nice. Their soup was delicious, but the bacon roll was a bit on the small side. More like a bite size! Only one bit of bacon. Watch the step going out the door, it is the same colour as the pavement and it looks camouflaged and you might forget it is there. It needs marked.
