   Our first visit and we were most impressed. We ordered online, paid and chose a pickup time. The order was ready on time. The fish suppers were exceptional. Batter crispy, not greasy, and fish cooked to perfection. Chips were likewise spot on and a decent portion. Staff polite and the shop immaculate. We'll be back.

   Hunted this down as the best chippie in Aberdeen. Ordered online and they got it ready for me to collect right on time. Cleanly packaged in firm cardboard boxes (pizza-style). While waiting, I noted that everything was fried fresh upon order. Batter for everything was crispy, but we preferred the panko (breadcrumbs). Haddock was nice and thick, and the portion (3 pieces) of sole was good too. Onion rings were the best I've had at any chippie. The level of post-meal greasiness for the battered haddock was lower than other chippies with equivalently crispy batter. About half an hour later, the onion ring batter stayed crispy. Would order the onion rings and panko sole again, and consider trying the panko haddock.

   We were all in the mood for a fish supper and read the reviews online of various establishments and this one stood out. Spotlessly clean with parking right outside. Friendly, well presented staff. Our fish was made to order. Massive portion and the fish was cooked to perfection, crisp, light batter, not greasy. The fish was very tasty as were the chips. Thoroughly enjoyable and I have no hesitation in recommending them

   Having replaced a well known fish shop it had a lot to live up to. And it's managing. Stylish on the outside, tasty in, this modern take on the local 'chipper' is more than worth a visit. Reasonable in price considering that all the fish are caught locally, with many other traditional options. The chips are brilliant. I also loved being able to read about the vessel that caught the days catch. Having said all this, because its good, you will wait a while!
