   We visited Pizza Express recently and were left genuinely shocked by the rude and dismissive behaviour of the staff. When we arrived, the restaurant was completely empty. Our children, excited and not wanting to cause any trouble, simply went and sat down at a table — there were plenty available. I then asked the waitress if it was okay for us to sit there, and instead of responding politely, she shouted and shrugged her shoulders, saying, “You already sat down anyway,” in a very rude and unprofessional manner. I asked to speak to the manager, hoping to calmly explain the situation. However, when he came over (while still munching on something), he didn’t offer a single apology. Instead, he just said, “I’m surprised,” and stood there staring at us with a blank expression. When I pointed out that we hadn’t received an apology and asked if we could have one more chair — as we were uncomfortably packed on a sofa — he responded sarcastically, asking, “So did you think how we can get your order?” instead of offering a simple solution or any courtesy. At that point, we decided to leave without ordering anything. The entire experience left us disappointed and uncomfortable. I’m still surprised how someone in a customer-facing role can lack such basic manners or any sense of apology. Pizza Express, this is not the kind of service we expected from your restaurant. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so no other family has to go through the same experience!!! Not recommended at all)):

   I would like to start by saying we have visited this restaurant a number of times and every time the food and service has been excellent, the staff always go above and beyond to make sure my little one has a great time. We then decided to book her birthday party here with 7 friends and it exceeded all expectations, Nicolette lead the party the children were all totally engaged and enjoyed themselves, she provided a great atmosphere, kept the parents happy with coffee. She allowed us to go in early to set up and offered her assistance, the party overran but we didn't feel push to leave at all, extremely relaxed. Thank you Nicolette!

   Had lunch here with a friend, first time at this location. We were seated in a dirty table, but someone came to clean it. The place was super busy, service was slightly slow but the staff was friendly. Now the food was not good at all, the new Melanzane (Al Forno) was terrible, even the frozen one from Lidl is better, way too much tomato and too watery one too, barely any cheese and tasted like nothing. The polenta fries were also very tasteless. I won't intend to go back. There are way better Italian restaurants.

   The food here is ok. Very oily pizzas, pasta was ok. Wish I just made my own. Rude waitresses that wouldn't let us split the bill because I was using a voucher. £85 not worth it!!

   Food. All over my clothes. I did think it would be a bit weird to watch live wrestling during my meal, but as soon as "Big Tractor" was hurled onto my carbonara, I was sold on the idea. I would definitely recommend this establishment to any wrestling/italian food fans, although service could have been slightly better.

   I don't normally leave reviews for chains, but this branch is so lovely. Super child friendly and the waiter was really helpful. Decent baby changing facilities (can be rare for restaurants!!) And yummy pizza too, of course!

   This was a very different Pizza Express that I am used too. As we entered we we’re waiting for a 5 min period while staff were behind the desk. On being seated we had to ask the staff members to come take our order, but they stood there and looked at each other, strange. When the order was placed the food was below what is the standard in London. And lastly there was a very unfriendly atmosphere apart from one Asian lady who was lovely, and I’m guessing the manager. Overall it was a standard visit, but the staff attitude was not what I was expecting from a customer obsessed brand!
