This restaurant really makes me feel warm and welcomed! They prepared a birthday cake and played thoughtful music, creating a special and cozy birthday atmosphere. Every little detail shows care and personal touch—it truly feels like home. I’ll definitely be coming back ^
Great authentic homemade Italian food. The staff are very friendly and the chef even came out to ask our opinion of the food, which topped the evening off. I would say 1 pizza is enough for two adults and you may be able to request the calamari to be made with Cod which was a nice twist!
I moved to the area and am happy to see a restaurant that focuses on a particular cuisine. Wine and pasta was exceptional. Will be going again. Very good prices. Thank you!!!
Some friends of ours highly recommended this restaurant to us and looking at their website the lunch set menu had a number of dishes that were perfect for a light meal. However, when we were seated, we were only presented with the a la carte menu, with the fixed price menu nowhere to be seen, which to my mind was rather underhand. We had to ask for this menu which we were duly given. I had the sardine starter followed by the chicken salad. The sardines were OK, if not a little overcooked. However, I have to say that the chicken was terrible. It was extremely dry, hard and chewy, and could not possibly have been cooked that day. This was really disappointing as this should have been one of the easiest dishes to make. That being said, one of our friends had the sea bass and it looked and tasted really good. Our other friend had the pork chop which was OK, but nothing special. I would have given a higher rating for the food, but for the chicken salad which really was that bad. Also, the restaurant was pretty cold which detracted from the ambience.
Delightful little independent local Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, well presented, arrived promptly and was accurate. Staff were super-nice inconspicuous, best of all they didn't ask the ever-boring "is everything alright with your meal" question. Prices were fair for what was on offer. The restaurant was very cozy and nicely designed and felt homely for what is a slightly ordinary looking converted parade shop. It was quite noisy upstairs.
Amazing restaurant. Me and my partner wanted pizza on a Sunday afternoon, we searched the nearest Italian restaurant and found Pronto. The restaurant was empty when we arrived but did not put us off, we were given enough time to check out the menu, which had a great selection. My partner wanted the scallops to start but unfortunately they were out, so our host recommended the prawns and they did not disappoint! It was delicious. I had the pizza and my partner had carbonara and it was out of this world! Great portion size and great value for money. We did manage to squeeze in dessert, lemon cheese cake and banoffee pie to finish off an amazing meal. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends!
Visited last night whilst staying in a local hotel. We found this place last-minute and weren't too sure what to expect, but we were blown away. Stepping through the door felt like we'd been whisked off to Italy, and the owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food arrived shortly after we had ordered, and I can honestly say it was some of the best food I've ever had. We've been to some rather expensive Italian restaurants in London, but none of them come close to beating the food here. We will definitely be visiting again next time we're in the area.
