   Lovely experience at Shark Tail Sushi! The food was fresh and delicious, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff were genuinely polite and welcoming, making the whole visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. Booking a table was super easy, and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food. Prices were fair and reflected the quality perfectly. Definitely a place I’ll return to. I highly recommend!

   While the food was good, there were a few issues I had. When you order on deliveroo, they pack coupons for you to bring in when you dine (see photo). Notice the wording "up to 50% of their bill"... We had a whole £1 taken off and the explanation of why it wasn't 50% was a bit confusing and I feel as though the wording is pretty misleading. Another issue is for dine-in, all of the food is served in single use stuff like chopsticks, soy sauce bowl for dipping, the "plate" the sushi came in, see next photo. As for the atmosphere, it was pretty dull. There was no music and given how small the place was you could hear the employees talking, which isn't a problem itself, it just wasn't a great dining atmosphere.

   SI had an incredible experience at Shark Tale! The sushi was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were so kind and welcoming, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, with a cozy and elegant vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. I can’t wait to come back again!

   I took my kids to Shark Tail 3 weeks ago for a treat. We were all really excited to go out for dinner - let's just say it had been quite a long time. I was also hopeful that a Google average of 4.6 meant that we would get great food. Unfortunately I found the food generally very disappointing. We had a selection of hot starters - spring rolls, fried shrimps, miso soup. The miso was fine, the deep fried stuff didn't taste good. Tasted like cheap frozen food. We then ordered the 205 set sushi and some edamame beans. The beans were nice. The sushi was not. Too stodgy, the rice Vs everything else ratio isn't right - too much rice and very little salmon. Plus they had what tasted like big knobs of butter in some them. I think it may have been cream cheese, but it was bizarre and gross. I wish I'd noticed before I ordered. I've never seen this on sushi in my life and it's not a good combo, so be careful. Sushi, in my opinion, should leave the pallette feeling clean and crisp. Big globs of dairy do the opposite. Overall it's a nice enough place with lovely people running it. I hope that things improve so that I can give it another go in a few years time, but for now I'll be giving the restaurant a wide berth.

   If you enjoy sushi, this in my opinion is the best sushi I have found around Dorset and Somerset. Staff always seem polite and food is always great imo. Usually seems a little quiet atmosphere wise but that never puts me off eating there. Recommend to any sushi lovers

   Best sushi i have ever had, with no exaggeration. Especially hot sushi are delicious. I am coming quite often from London to Bournemouth, and when i am in there i am definitely popping in to have the best sushi in the town.

   Sushi was good. Miso was excellent. Well presented, well prepared. Atmosphere a little like a diner, but clean and well lit. Service rather slow: we waited more than half an hour even though the place was near empty: hard to say how they should prioritise dine-in Vs delivery, but something is recommend the owners consider. Maybe stop taking orders if you can't keep up? Worth visiting.

   We tried this restaurant on a Tuesday night, it was quiet but still had a nice atmosphere. The service here is perfect, efficient but not intrusive. The food was lovely, much nicer than their better known competitors. Prices felt like good value and the portions were generous. I will definitely be going back to collect loyalty stamps on the loyalty card I was given! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
