“Simply incredible. I've been to many Japanese restaurants, but this small, cozy place has undoubtedly become my favorite. The food quality is outstanding. Everything is freshly prepared with great care. You can truly feel that each dish is made with love and a deep respect for Japanese tradition. The fish is fresh, the flavours are balanced, and the variety is impressive, especially for such an intimate restaurant. The space is calm, clean, and thoughtfully organised. It’s run by a lovely couple who are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even more special. Their hospitality and attention to detail really stand out. My partner and I ordered the summer roll, salmon hoso maki, black tiger roll maki (my partner’s favorite), Philadelphia roll (my favorite), tuna and salmon sashimi. The prices are fair and more than worth it for the quality you receive. It’s the kind of hidden gem you stumble upon and immediately want to share with everyone. More people need to discover and try this place. ❤️”

“Such incredible sushi! Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, the execution is on point, everything was handmade and so fresh. They have great vegan options, some of which aren’t on the menu so be sure to ask! Extremely reasonably priced for such high quality sushi. This is the best sushi I’ve had even having been to Japan!”

“Delicious food today. Katsu curry was the best I’ve had in Dorset. Sushi fish was succulent and super fresh. The Ramen bowls also went down well. Very good indeed. A firm favourite with my son, also who travels to Japan regularly. This is his go to local when he’s home.”

“Lovely experience at Shark Tail Sushi! The food was fresh and delicious, and you can really taste the quality in every bite. The staff were genuinely polite and welcoming, making the whole visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. Booking a table was super easy, and we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food. Prices were fair and reflected the quality perfectly. Definitely a place I’ll return to. I highly recommend!”

“Loved their food, especially their honey glazed roast pork and fried rice. Can taste the wok hei, which is a big thumbs up. I ordered a salted lemon 7up, and they really made their own salted lemon. Will definitely come back again.”

“Never had lobster before and figured best place to try was Oishii with their new year’s menu. WAS NOT disappointed. “We go there every week, I've celebrated birthdays there, it's always wonderful! Wonderful attention, wonderful food and quality / price! Have you tried their ramen? It's just amazing too. There's only one thing I never get to know, and that's the recipe for hot barbecue sauce, heck guys! I would die for that hot sauce!! We will be back soon! By the way, if you want to try something different and originally from Korea... Try the plum Soju + asahi beer, ask the employees how to prepare it, are you ready for something so delicious?”

“Thank you Jordan!! Amazing experience (service and food) at ASK Bournemouth! ..... My friend and I were unable to see the movie we wanted at the BH2 Odeon cinema, so we went to Ask Italian at the BH2 centre for food instead. Despite being very busy they were able to fit us in and for that we are so grateful to the man who got us a table. Sadly, we didn't get his name, but he was so accommodating and friendly. The manager of the restaurant was also so helpful and made us feel so welcome, but it was our server Jordan who really stole the show! I own a private medical clinic so I am always very aware of the service I receive and all I can say is that we were blown away by Jordan’s helpfulness and manner, he was so attentive and despite us not intending to have a dessert because we were full, Jordan’s upselling skills were brilliant as he introduced us to the smaller dessert with a coffee option which was perfect. On a very busy evening the whole team were efficient and welcoming and service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious (thank you Chef too!). A great evening was had and, to the whole team (and especially Jordan!) we are so very grateful! We will be back! Thank you so much!”

“Very friendly man running the restaurant and cooking the food, very courteous and apologetic for a slight wait… we didn’t wait long at all and he had only just opened! We both went for Bento Box 2 which included: Rice, Bulgogi Beef or Chilli Pork (I had pork my husband had beef), 2 Tempura Prawns, 2 Fried Dumplings, 2 Spring Rolls, 2 Chicken Skewers and a portion of chilli chicken balls each. The food arrived nicely presented and looked great… it tasted fab! Everything was so full of flavour, cooked wonderfully and the meat was nice and tender. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and were so full afterwards. All for a really good price too! Rice Bar Totoro is on our list of places to return to soon, we want to try the rest of the great looking menu!”

“Everything is right with an 18” pizza for under £20!!! There is nothing that can upgrade this pizza offering, and I am lucky enough for you in my local area for years already!! Thin crust and 18” are unbeatable. And the other day I received a 10% discount voucher, very unexpected, and the day after I decided for pizza or groceries and cooking (lol)”
