   We booked a table of 5 (1 Child) for 16.00 and did not receive our food until gone 17.15. I received my meal and it was 10 minutes before everyone else received theirs. My grandson order a beef roast dinner and the beef was like leather, and not a child's portion. My wife had a chicken kebab and it was small bits of the poorer meat. My son-in-law had the 3 meat kebab and the pork was chewy. My daughter had a lemonade which was flat and tasteless. My red wine taste warm and off. When I paid there was an ant infestation on the counter at the bar. The waitress was uninterested in us as diners, there was no cutlery on the table and when the food started to arrive she bought out knives and forks and just put them in the middle of the table, with no napkins. This is one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. When we complained there was no real apology and they knocked less then £3 off a £90 bill.

   Came here as a walk in as wasn’t planning to go here. Was pleasantly surprised! The staff was lovely and attentive. Service was quick, wasn’t very busy in there lots of empty tables. Really like the decor but was quite cold inside. The garlic Stilton mushrooms to start was delicious but there was so many mushrooms! Bruschetta was really tasty. Then for the mains I had the steak dianne which was cooked to perfection but again way to many mushrooms and onions on top. My partner had the Pompeii pizza which was lovely. New York dirty fries was great. We couldn’t finish it all so they let us take some away. Good menu, lots to chose from. Would eat here again!

   I don;t often do reviews but this was such a good find. Needed a central point with parking for the girls meet up - always hard to find somewhere central to us all. The cocktails and waffles were amazing! There was a huge choice and all cooked fresh to order (they smelt out of this world). All accompanied with a couple of cocktails. I'm probably going to try Sunday lunch here next time - it's one of those places that I think will become a favourite for loads of occasions!

   We have enjoyed a couple of tasty meals here since Andy took over, and he deserves credit for developing a real treasure in Spondon. The warmth and commitment of all staff make it a fun experience. All the staff are attentive and are in tune with your needs. We could not make it in this weekend, so I ordered the Ultimate Takeout! Perfect with a few cold beers. No washing up, or waste and there was some chicken left for my lunch the next day. Thanks Andy and team.

   Clock Bistro is INCREDIBLE!!! The menu options are varied, the food is sublime - their chef performs magic when mixing sauces! To top it off, the host and staff are very welcoming .... we will definitely be returning!!!!

   Such a difference! I came here a few years ago with my hospital work team, and really was not impressed. Everything felt such an effort to the owner/manager at that time. Fast forward to a month ago we by the off chance dropped in, and my word what a difference! I think Andy and his team have worked extremely hard to give a new fresh and authentic experience. My partner and I had the fish and mixed kababs. Both were cooked from scratch and good value. We also had the AMAZING cheesecake! (sorry no pics). There was a birthday party meal on the other side of the restaurant at the same time as us. They all looked to be having a great time, all the staff made their meal special with sparklers and music. Since our great meal we have also tried the Sunday roast delivery and that is out of this world! Again, all home cooked with the best gravy! We would 100% recommend you give it a try as well!
