A wonderful restaurant with such an amazing, quaint, intimate atmosphere, and absolutely fantastic food. Faultless, personal service with staff that welcome you personally, and care about your requirements throughout the meal. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Came her on NYE and the service and food was incredible. We had only eaten here once before and it was many years ago. We and a set menu which was such great value for money and we keep saying how we need to come back for me!! Nice atmosphere and extremely tasty, locally sourced food. Really enjoyable experience.
Booked online without issue. It’s somewhere we’d both wanted to visit for some time, so chose a belated Birthday and Date Night to do so It looks smart from the outside. Inside is cosy, traditional, and warm, with a homely feel to it. We were promptly greeted, and shown to our table (downstairs; window). The restaurant was near-full whilst we were there Service was impeccable throughout - traditional, attentive, and personable. As such, we were never left wanting for drinks, and our orders were taken promptly at each stage of our meal We enjoyed Prosecco and cocktails during our evening. All were really tasty The food is beautiful! We shared Bao Buns, devoured the Sea Bass and Belly of Pork, and shared a Dessert. All were faultless - well presented, beautifully cooked, and perfectly portioned Testament to its popularity, we enjoyed our stay to its fullest, and were asked for our table so it could be prepared for other reservations (we’d been told about this when we booked) We SHALL return! 2 adults - Food and Drinks - 3 courses - £55 each - February NB - It’s dog-friendly! Harry (guest dog) was a beaut, keeping us entertained while we waited to be seated
A French style bistro, serving decent food. There is a good vegan / vegetarian selection as well as Thornbridge beers on tap. Definitely recommended

Pretty odd experience here last night. Starter of lamb kofta was subpar, lamb had a very synthetic taste. The taste, shape and texture suggested it was from a packet. Salad was drowned out by the sauce. This made for a very unpleasant taste alongside the sharp cheese. I didn't finish this. The main was a massive dissapointment. Pork belly, with Irish champ which was absolutely swimming in grease. See picture, just look at the plate it is drenched in fat and oil and grease. There's no excuse for that at all. Got halfway through and just couldn't finish. To their credit they offered to put the desserts on the house and after some persuasion by the waitress we tried a dessert. The key lime pie was nice. The head waiter seemed to want to plant himself about a yard away from our table awkwardly. The waitresses seemed nervous around him. Not a pleasant experience at all and not one I could recommend to anyone. Giving 2 stars as they did at least attempt to correct the mains issue.
Beautiful restaurant, they have special prices during the week. Nice selection of dishes, drinks menu is good and cocktails taste great.
Great food. Well presented. Service ok. Will go again at some point.
