Fantastic experience here! We came here out of randomness just expecting a typical gastro pub - certainly did not expect the beautiful decor and the brilliant considerate service from the serving staff! They were very attentive to our needs and the space was beautiful. The food was fine although we maybe should have tried ordering from the pizza kitchen! Overall the vibe, cosiness and fantastic service made this 5* :) Will be coming again!!

Went for lunch after visiting the Helios display at Kedleston Hall. Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was varied, hot and well presented. The dishes we had were nice and spicy too. Beer was good and the overall atmosphere was welcoming.

I’ve been to The Joiners Arms many times — it used to be my go-to place. Sadly, it’s gone downhill recently. They keep changing the menu and don’t seem to listen to customer feedback. The food used to be absolutely delicious, proper pub-style meals, but since they introduced Asian-inspired dishes, it’s been really disappointing. I ordered a poke bowl, and it was awful — I couldn’t eat more than two spoonfuls. It was nothing like a traditional poke bowl or what you’d expect from a pub. The waitress was lovely and really understanding — she even agreed that many customers have said the same, but management just doesn’t listen. It’s a shame because they’re trying too hard to be a trendy place instead of sticking to what they did best. It’s also misleading to present as a gastro pub while serving mainly Asian cuisine, especially when at Christmas they go back to serving traditional dinners. Overall, very disappointed — it used to be amazing, but I wouldn’t recommend it anymore like I once did

While our visit started off with a little frustration with the lack of parking and a 20 drive around for the car park this pub is an absolute gem. The pub was absolutely rammed but we were seated quickly (I suggested booking a table). We had quick service by a great server (sorry we didn’t get her name but she was amazing). We went for my partners birthday and the server was polite, interested in how we were and about the dairy allergy vs with one of the party on the table. The food was tasty and top quality. The little touch by the server with the birthday cake was lovely. This girl needs a raise she’s one of the best servers we’ve had in a long time. Thank you

Beyond expectations in price, value, quality and taste. The Stone baked pizza was some of the best we've had and very fairly priced. The staff are very helpful and friendly, ample car parking and a tranquil beer garden. When we're back in the area we'll definitely make a return or find another one in the chain! Only negative was the toilets looked like they had been ransacked and could of used a clean, but the rest of the pub was very clean and well maintained.

The atmosphere and decoration here is amazing. The service was faultless and ordering and paying via QR code on the table worked great. I had the trio of burgers, the pulled pork burger wasn’t my favourite but the other two were delicious. The teapot cocktail was amazingly presented and tasted really nice. Some of the other cocktails like the one that came in test tubes weren’t as nice unfortunately, but they were all presented amazingly and imaginative. The cocktail prices were surprisingly good value also. Would recommend for a fun date.

Atmosphere 100% amazing! Such a stunning WOW FACTOR! Bar service= fast and friendly. Food see= patient & friendly and fast. The variety of food is overwhelmingly in a good way. You will have plenty to choose from for any dietary preference. Burger, pizza (they are HUGE), sandwiches, salads, and plenty more delicious treats. The cocktail selection is super affordable and delicious. I would absolutely come back, it's a must see for anyone especially during Christmas time it's magical! We were a group of 4 had 2 drinks each, 4 mains, 4 starters, 4 sides and spend about 140£ in total.

Lovely little date evening, cute set up outdoors! Wrap up though because it does get chilly when the temperature drops. Not my first visit and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Lovely welcoming staff! Food was nice although the base of the pizza was quite over cooked and I left half of it. Cocktails were yummy! Parking on site, toilets inside, clean and tidy overall and fast service. All in all was a lovely evening we enjoyed it!!

First time eating here and it did not disappoint! Walked in and we managed to get a table. Loved the decor. Open steak sandwich was delicious and so was the halloumi salad! The cocktails was yummy! Would recommend
