It's OK for most of products but definitely not always the cheapest as they like to make us believe apart from basic products prices been increased every few months.

This Aldi is both a convenient and reliable shopping spot Beimg opposite the Derby Royal Hospital it is in an ideal location, perfect for grabbing essentials if visiting a loved one or doing a full shop. The store is always well-stocked with fresh food, cold drinks, and all the usual Aldi bargains. There’s disabled car parking available, and while parking is limited to 60 minutes, it’s more than enough for a quick, efficient shop. The store is clean, well organised, and easy to navigate. The staff are friendly, helpful, and keep everything running smoothly, they even have regular on site security personnel. I think this is a convenient supermarket that makes shopping simple should you need something for the person you're visiting.

Beware of the 1 hr parking notice. I have 4 young children and I was shoppin for 1hr and 19 miutes and received a fine. Not family friendly can't shop at this location anymore. Appaling they do not think about families.

It's an Aldi - full of substitute brands some very good some not so good. I like the packaged meat fridges, the fresh fruit and vegetables but they Don't last long. Left unsatisfied on many occasions with some items and cannot find others. I always look at every counter to compare specials and have, indeed, found some very good ones, like curry sauces. Small bottled flavoured water just what we need. Handy to take walking. Monday morning 9th January 2023 lots of people waiting to enter at 8.0am. I, like many others waited in my car, others couldn't wait and went. The doors didn't open till almost 8.10. What was wrong?

Good value for money store, though you may need wicket keeper's gloves to get your food into your trolley post scanning.

Aldi's ham goes bad while it is still on the shelf. Managers don't care. This branch has the tiniest checkout packing space of all, so even if you are quick, some of your stuff will end up on the floor. I've also noticed the prices start creeping up recently on quite a few items.

Came in yesterday and only 1 checkout open other than the self service. Quite a queue. I will not use self check out because they are too low for my back. Also I do not get a discount for serving myself.

I took a Groupon tour of the behind the scenes staff area. It was most informative.. I imagined it to somewhat resemble the original movie of Charlie and the chocolate factory. I was not disappointed.. so much fun! Though there was no glass elevator, I was able to ascend in a cherry picker to the top shelves and at the very top where, to my surprise, a young man served prosecco between pallets of biscuits and spices. An excellent tour to get a taste of the well flexed muscles and iron like bones beneath the delicate, sun blushed, youthlike skin of Aldi.
