Disappointing. Tried for the first time after hearing many good things. Very little chicken on flavour in the grilled chicken burrito. Nachos side was just supermarket nachos slightly stale and put in a paper bag. Staff were nice but I won’t be back. Not value for money.
Over all my experience was absolutely amazing from the minute I walked through the door I was greeted by the staff members with a smile from the staff and was served with exceptional care. My server, Freddie, truly went above and beyond to make the entire visit unforgettable. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely warm and friendly throughout the meal. Every recommendation he made was spot-on, and he checked in at just the right moments to ensure everything was perfect. The combination of the welcoming atmosphere and Freddie’s outstanding service made this one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend asking for Freddie if you want top-tier service!
The service at Freshmex is good, but the food was just okay, not amazing, but not bad either. It was pretty average, and honestly, I’ve had better elsewhere. While I managed to finish everything, my friend left her plate untouched, which you can see in the picture. She mentioned that her food just didn’t taste fresh. The naked burrito I had was alright for me, but it could have been even better. The restaurant is a bit cramped inside, but it’s a small place, so I can’t really complain.
went aberdeen last year, found this place and got the burrito which was so good. come back again yesterday and did not dissapoint. got to say this is my favourite food I've ever had. packed burrito full of flavour. thankyou
I had not eaten all day. After having a massage I spent an hour walking around Aberdeen down back alleys etc. Most places were already closed I went to the Triple Kirks and it was full and a soccer match was on TV and a disco was playing and a few vacant tables were reserved.The Northern Bar had poker going on the kitchen was closed On the way back to my hotel I came across this place and after a lot of discussion a £12 burger and fries ended up being £19 with a drink. I was not offered a receipt. The decor is aping a mexican resteraunt. Benches and chairs and wooden tables I enjoyed my mango drink and the food took about 15 minutes to come. In my opinion the fries were over cooked and too thin and dry and the burger bread was soggy from the filling. The meal was served in a basket and the burger filling was a bit dry. Bits of chopped tomatoes kept coming out I had to ask for a fork. The meal was cold but I was really hungry and it was so late. The music was good mostly country and rock ballads. I find food delivery riders an unwelcome intrusion. They do burritos and quesilados etc In not sure what a mexican native would think of it. I would say that the burger was a decent size. The girl who served me was very good at her job and made me feel welcome.
Very generous portions, good prices, friendly staff and most importantly delicious food! The burritos are fully stuffed with your chosen fillings. Absolutely fantastic place.
Had my first visit to freshmex and really enjoyed it. Huge burrito, even a regular sized was big. Got a side of fries and a bottle of lime jarritos too. Whole thing came to £18 which I felt was a bit pricey but the fries (spiced) were amazing and the burrito was a hefty thing. The seating area is a bit cramped and a little too dark if I'm honest. All black and dimly lit but that's not a deal breaker at all.
Nice freshly made, reasonably fast food. Friendly service and good prices. Good city centre location.
We sat in on a Friday evening and had two portions of loaded fries. They were excellent and really fresh and tasty. I find the food is better when you get it in store. Would highly recommend.
