   Well received by friendly staff. Premises were clean, tidy and in good repair, including toilets. Our order was taken, prepared and served fresh and hot, with adequate portions. Staff were very attentive and professional. Will certainly be visiting again.

   If you want a decent fish supper - Do not go to this place, my other half just went and payed £9.50 for a fish supper and most of it went into the bin, chips looked as though they were dipped in the fryer and taken out again and fish was tasteless and full of bones, the smell in the car was awful and had to open the window on the way home. Never again....

   Traditional chip shop offering different portion sizes, also catering for OAP and children. Fish and chips is very nice and the Jumbo size normally caters for most. Also offer an Ashvale Whale for those up for the challenege! Very tasty and friendly service. Also offers salads and vegetarian options. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

   I can't comment on the service nor interior as someone else bought the takeaway. I've had fish and chips several times from here. Each time I hope it is better, but I have to say there is always some disappointment with the food. The packaging mentions "30 years of award winning fish and chips". I find that hard to believe. I assume the same recipe and cooking instructions are replicated in the various branches. It wouldn't win any awards from me.

   We went here as a large group who hadn't booked and were accommodated very well. The staff were very helpful even offering to see if we could get some things that weren't on the menu. The food was delicious and punctual (which was great considering the large group size). Sadly they were out of the "whale" but I'm sure I'll come back some time to tackle it.
