   Never disappointed when I eat here. Wonderful lasagna with chips, salad and garlic bread. I was too full for dessert but there was a great choice. Service was spot on and we had a great night. Pub is clean and welcoming. Fantastic night out for a friend's birthday in the lead up to Christmas. Pub decorated and looking super festive

   Clean pub, friendly and welcoming. Dogs and children welcome. Food was very good, good quantity and plentiful choice, and has remained good quality when I have visited. Drinks were brought to table but you could also order at the bar. Quite a good size car park but lots of cars. Outside area and a smokers hut. Definitely one to visit if you are in the area. Would recommend booking ideally, and also be aware people tend to eat early and leave quite early compare to some pubs in the area.

   Gorgeous place - we’ve had dinner here every time we’ve visited the area now and never been disappointed. We’ve tried the ham egg and chips, steak burger (which was to die for!) and spicy pizza! All fresh and delicious. Wine superb and service was truly exceptional. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. And we finally got to try a dessert last night- sticky toffee pudding! Absolutely amazing!!!!!

   I have been to this venue 3 times and it never fails to impress. It has a great ambience and the food is good. You need to book if eating at this restaurant because it is very popular! Well done to management and staff for providing a lovely country spot to have a meal.

   What a gem of a find! We'd just finished Go Ape at Itchen Country Park and fortunately this came up on Maps as somewhere to eat. Such a beautiful place, lovely inside, excellent food and really friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

   As pub food goes you can't beat it. I had the fish and chips. Nice atmosphere. 4 real ales on tap. My children also liked it as their empty plates suggest.
