   Here has become our go-to spot for Chinese meals, and they never disappoint. I always forget to take photos, but the food is absolutely delicious. I usually go for the black bean beef with peppers and rice, while my partner opts for the curry with rice. The owners are lovely people, and I definitely recommend it. They also offer takeaway if that suits you better!"

   As we arrived the place looked old & worn we heard the food was good there. We sat at the table & I noticed the wall I was next too was covered in food splats the tables weren’t very well dressed we ordered our food starters were spring rolls which had nothing inside them & very plain we also ordered beef dumplings & also very cheap & no flavour the soya sauce was very oily had no taste also had to wait 5 minutes for dumplings after getting the spring rolls. For mains we ordered lemon chicken, it was very chewy & crispy beef which the sauce was the same sauce you cover ribs in what tasted like tesco ribs & the special noodles were very salty. Won’t be going back again. Also the phone at the bar kept ringing & was very loud all through restaurant which was also very annoying

   We had a fantastic meal at The Mandarin Chef. The all-you-can-eat menu was amazing – everything cooked fresh and full of flavor. The crispy duck and salt & pepper prawns were standouts. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Great food, great atmosphere – we’ll definitely be back!

   This place is a great place if you are interested or into all you can eat Chinese food. The food is amazing and plentiful. The staff helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. I only have a small criticism that the restaurant, bar area, toilets are long, long overdue a decoration and thorough deep clean! We used to go here every month before covid lockdown and this was the first trip back in 3 and half years. It doesn't appear to have been touched in that time. Which is a crying shame even for a minimum coat of paint toilet upgrade and carpet deep clean I am sure this would be packedike it used to. Still say though thay the food was amazing and staff great.

   Visit here on occasions for an evening meal and can't complain apart from not having specific item on some evenings. Food is always good and tasty, service is always quick. Set price for the menu so no surprises unless you drink ALOT...
