Never have cullen skink, permanent menu item which is almost never available, the stars have to align if you want cullen skink at this cafe. Outside of the cullen skink situation the food is good and its good for kids.

Sunday morning and 30 minutes to wait for a carry out bacon roll. The staff seem to be working so very hard, yet something is missing from the procedure. Everytime we eat there, it takes forever to get the food to the table (but venver this long). I do wonder if they actually have things already cooked and just needed to be finished, prior to serving. Or is it all cooked to order. The front counter staff seem to be going 100mph, yet manage to keep calm, so I feel sorry for them if the kitchen is letting them down. Something needs to change. Sorry I marked down service, but to be clear, this isn't aimed at the staff, it was waiting 30 minutes for a bacon roll.

The cafe itself was really good, the food and staff were really friendly and welcoming. Alot of good food options on offers aswell as tray bakes, definitely would eat here again. The price seemed fair, its just like every other cafe price in aberdeen.

A lovely wee busy cafe in Hazlehead park. We had a good time at the cafe. Nice selection of cakes - it was the first time I had seen a blueberry Bakewell being sold in a cafe, and it was really nice! Staff were ready for the busyness, and it was a somewhat fast service. It’s quite a cute and small cafe, so I do foresee it getting a bit crammed sometimes, and maybe not being able to seat everyone that comes in. But that might not be the case all the time (we came in during the Easter holidays).

Stopped in here for something to eat and drink. Cafe is not huge but plenty of outdoor seating if you can’t get a table inside. Very modern, clean and fresh cafe with large menu of hot and cold food and drinks suitable for all ages. You’d be hard pressed not to find something to eat and drink here. We ordered two hot drinks both of which were lovely, a pancake stack which was ok but pretty soggy as the syrup was like water so just soaked right into the pancakes. Fruit scone was lovely which came with butter and jam. Lemon tart was seriously bland with little flavour other than sweet but looked lovely. Finally a black pudding and bacon roll which was the best out of the whole order. Everything was presented really well and looked lovely but honestly each item just tasted bland and lacked quality. Style over substance I think Paul Hollywood would say. That being said it all looked nice, good service considering how busy the cafe was. Some customers were great in vacating their table when they finished but others had finished all their food and drink when we arrived and still sitting there when we left. This added to the lack of tables available which was a shame but despite this we had a nice lunch and would go back.

Was here for a wake in the private upstairs room, was really nice, food and staff were perfect. Nice vibe for a wake and a walk round the park after, was very busy downstairs but barely heard them and service was still fast.

Excellent service & efficiency from employees. Such a lovely cafe with tasty variety of food & drinks. Although it was quite busy when we recently visited, the staff were superb...orders were taken quickly & served in no time. Also tables were promptly cleaned by the fantastic Rebecca (I specifically asked her name as she was so helpful & friendly) so new customers could get seated. Although I particularly don't get to come here often, I highly recommend. Thank you to the great team here.

A lovely, stylish cafe in Hazlehead Park. They host a lot of private events as well, including weddings, birthday parties and similar. When we visited on Sunday, they had 2 different soups and lots of cake options. Quite a few different tea flavours too!

The atmosphere of the cafe is quite nice. The staff is either too shy or too rude. The portion of the nutella that came with the pancakes was absolutely ridiculous. You pay for each pancake separately, and they just tasted like eggs. Super thick no flavor. The drinks, hot chocolate and latte were good. Would come here for drinks but never a proper breakfast.
