So order food tonight from new owners tonight had mixed chicken tikka roll was delicious wife had chicken tikka burger with chips she said it was yummy so you should give it a go for fantastic food
AVOID Such poor service, the employee told me the food will be ready in 15 minutes so we had arrived for collection and he said a further 15 minutes more. The kebab roll tasted frozen and was cold. I feel like I’ll get food poisoning from this meal, avoid at all costs!!
Food no they are way behind in nearby competitions. We ordered Lamb biryani, Chicken Karahi and Nan. Lamb biryani - it's like Lamb curry mixed with Naan. Chicken Karahi - it was sweet, boneless and in gravy?? I eat authentic Karahi on roadside which cooked in wok and it's not a heavy in gravy. So either it's mixed up in order or cook they need to go back to basics learning. Naan - awesome and covered so it remain hot. I was giving 2 start but 1 start extra only for naan.
I have been coming here for years with my family. We always order the chicken tikka sizzler, kebabs, fish and naan. The food is always fresh and tastes good! I dont understand the bad reviews.
Amazing food, freshly cooked while you wait for 10 out of 10 for the service and cleanliness come and check it out. Amazing food you won’t be disappointed
I do not recommend, we deliver the goods to them and I saw one of the cooks spit into the food, since then our cooperation has ended
Have visited here often. The food has always been tasty but this last time it was truly excellent. The staff have always been thoughtful, courteous and friendly.
Went in here first time with my friend. Food took around 30-35 mins to come when we were the only people in their and food wasn’t great either. Not Fresh at all chicken tasted like it had been their for days. Not worth the money and I won’t be returning
We ordered a few portion of seekh kebabs, chicken tikka’s and naan. The order arrived within half an hour, tasted amazing and still hot. Recommend them 100%
I come here almost every day as I don’t have time to cook myself, the people that run the business have treated me with a lot of respect and exceptional customer service. Their Lamb karahi and mixed grill is amazing and usually my go to option, can’t recommend Star Karahi enough! The Nans that they serve are also the best I’ve encountered in Reading. Try for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.
