The food was delightful. The buff momo was an absolute standout an easy 5 out of 5. The chicken and pork thukpa were decent, and the syafalle was satisfactory, but it was truly the momo that stole my heart.
Today I visited this place, and “Kanchan Shrestha”served us with her beautiful smile and kind behaviour. She was so friendly and welcoming, which made our visit even more enjoyable. A big thank you to the chefs for the delicious food and sweet flavours! I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Nepali food — the dishes were absolutely tasty, the service was warm and genuine, and the portions were generous. This restaurant is truly wonderful — from the friendly staff to the amazing flavours, everything was perfect. I’m really impressed and will definitely be coming back! Do check this place out — it’s 100% worth your time!
This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and overall, I really enjoyed the food. The chatpate had a great texture, though I found the flavor a bit bland. A better balance of spiciness and sourness could have elevated it even more. Momo were both delicious. Just a small suggestion from my perspective: if the momo had a thinner outer layer and a juicier filling, it would have been perfect and the achar was excellent and really enhanced the flavour of the momo.
Nice friendly service, not busy one Thursday lunch. Sukuty Chatpatey was like a huge plate of Bel Puri with fried buffalo meat but quite tasty! Pork Thupka was an aromatic spicy noodle soup with strips of pork, perfect for the rainy day. Interior was nice, entrance was down the back of another business. Food was OK in a home cooking kinda way, quite satisfying. The chai was very good, tho.
Its a decent small place. We had momos and chowmein and they both were good.
A nice pleasant surprise. Small restaurant but really well kept - neat & mainly really friendly staff & service. The food was fresh & tasty, simple menu but done well. We tried the salad, momos, chowmein & fried rice. Each dish was freshly made, and spiced just right. Will definitely visit again.
We celeberated our daughter's birthday party here recently in the basement decorations and tables were great and the food was very nice ie; delicious starters freshly cooked punjabi veg samosa, chicken n pork dumplings momos, fried pork ofals, chutney, battered hot chicken wings and aludam and dry fried parched rice chiura. Main meals chicken curry lamb curry prawn crackers salada daahl lentils mix veg curry all absolutely very tasty. Thank you Chillim Kitchen.
Opened again and the quality is very good. The prices were increased a little bit but are average prices. The good is fresh made and delicious
To start with it's no longer a tandoori although that's what the sign says & it doesn't even do tandoori though it has all other oriental cuisine on the menu. My dumplings didn't come with any kind of dip which was disappointing & my curry was too spicy (Thai Green) but perhaps that was a bad choice - though we did ask if red or green was hotter & there was no advice that both were pretty hot. 2 people left most of their mains but the starters were nice & the mango lassi.
