Excellent food, well prepared, finest quality and very tasty. My wife and I enjoyed deep fried brie, leek and potato soup, a salmon Caesar salad and a fish and chips. Would recommend if you are staying at the Woodlands Lodge Hotel that you dine here at least once.
Everything looked delicious. We opted for a selection of starters between us instead of a main so we had room for dessert. Good choice. They were great - so was dessert.
Went for a party and it was amazing, nothing was to much for the staff and the room looked amazing. Afternoon tea was delicious!
Nice restaurant. Very good food with reasonably priced wines. Good ambiance, nice bar with conservatory space, should be lovely in the summer. Food only got 4 stars as it is a relatively short menu, otherwise 5 stars.
Good food, quality and quantity. Caters for veggie and vegan. Brought out in good time. Staff are on the ball with everything. Note that the vegan option didn't change, but the chef should be able to do something different given fair warning, and this is only a concern if eating here more than once. Breakfast is equally good though we ate late so avoided any rush, or noise. As with dinner there are veggie and vegan options.
Suitable for kids of all ages, but parents and grandparents would be equally at home. There is something for everyone. The perfect day out for all concerned.
Lovely food and service, staff were very friendly. Part of our order was initially wrong but this was fixed very quickly
First night: Very good taste. We were alone as it wasn’t busy. The food came quickly and the service was really good. We tried homemade bread with oils, was excellent! 5/5 Second night: We ordered a burger with bacon and cheese and pork belly. Chocolate for dessert. They didn’t add bacon or cheese; the pork belly was very dry. Inside of the burger we found a piece of plastic! Our second experience was not really good. 1/5
