   Lovely food. Took a short while to come out but no problem with that at all since it tasted great. Meal was mildly interrupted when the lady below quite literally jogged after the manager she's talking about shouting excuse me excuse me turning multiple heads. Could just quietly walk up to the bar and query the resolution like a normal person as 50% off the bill sounds reasonable. Shouldn't write this as it's probably giving the attention they obviously look for. Anyway, didn't ruin the experience, will be back again!

   Used to eat here on a regular basis some years ago as had a good few GF options. They stopped having as many options so we stopped going. Thought I would go back and give it a try. Not the best initial greeting, and when I asked about GF options the waitress was not overly helpful or knowledgeable. Very disappointed with the brief menu and had to ask for a wine list and drinks. it took a couple of visits to the chef to get to the bottom of what I could have. Sadly our waitresses seemed a little grumpy and not very warm. Another guest was asking about the menu and sea food options and got up and left after his interaction. In comparison the Pack Horse, has much better options. That said the food was nice on arrival, just would have liked someone to have been more welcoming and helpful.

   Very nice Sunday roast. So good I didn’t even manage to take any pictures. Really appreciated the quantity of vegetables. Value for money was good in my opinion. We decided to have pudding- apple crumble and the cheesecake. Again, no pictures because we tucked in. I’ve never yet found a pub that can do a nice crumble and I hate to admit it but this, although adequate, failed in the topping department. The cheesecake itself was good, although being biscoff it didn’t really taste of it and the Oreo ice cream really didn’t enhance the dessert, in fact, it was like two puddings on one plate. If you’re a pudding person this might not be the place for you but the roasts are worth a shot.

   I visited this pub as I am staying in the area for work and didn't want to spend another evening sitting in the Airbnb. The staff were so accommodating and happy for me to work before my food arrived. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. I felt completely at ease despite being a solo diner. A big shout out to Megan who looked after me and gave fantastic service!

   My sister booked the Pack Saddle by mistake, so glad she did. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and very tasty. There were 4 of us not one complaint. Will definitely be going back. Price wise the menu was standard for these days and area.

   Very good Sunday lunch with fresh veg, super roast potatoes and tasty gravy. Beer and wine choice perfect. As somebody else has noted - a little more expensive than some other local pub menus but worth it.

   Very nice food if a tad expensive, however you get what you pay for. Service good and the staff pleasant and helpful, loos clean. The children’s play area is just right. Don’t miss the community allotments provided by pub in the paddock. Great sign here
