   I came here for a meal with friends and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been better! They were welcoming and friendly. The restaurant was very busy and the staff maintained a great attitude. Highly recommend!

   Another lovely Christmas gathering. This is our second year and it did not disappoint. The menu was good with it being reasonably priced. It was easy to book, with the availability of the side room. The room was nicely decorated and the square table for 14 works perfectly. The staff were very welcoming and friendly as always. The food came out in a timely fashion tasting delicious. The vegetables were a good mix and were plenty. All in all an enjoyable experience from our party thank you

   I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is nothing like a 'chateau'. It backs onto an extremely busy dual carriageway and is noisy at night. No lift. No disabled parking bay (which is illegal). Continental style cold breakfast. Outrageous prices at the bar. I definitely would not return!

   A very pleasant overnight stay here! Simple check in process, shown to our room by Paul who was lovely. The room was comfortable and felt well maintained. We met both Toni and Paul after our breakfast and they were lovely people who clearly love what they do, and being based in their favourite part of the new forest. I would highly recommend staying here, and next time we'll happily give the restaurant a go for our evening meal as the breakfast was very good.

   We popped in for a meal and were pleasantly surprised. The food was well-cooked and tasty, and the service was friendly and welcoming; a really nice atmosphere overall. It’s the kind of place that’s easy to miss as you pass by, as it’s not immediately obvious it’s a restaurant from the outside. While we did feel the prices were a little on the high side for what you get, we still had a lovely time and enjoyed the experience.

   We had lunch today at Le Chateau in Cadnam. The location is lovely with plenty of parking space. The dining room is spacious and airy, with views of the garden. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered our main course and we had our drinks, while we waited. We waited a little while for our food but when it arrived it did not disappoint. The plates were hot and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. We had crispy duck and Dover Sole. Both came with an assortment of vegetables, all beautifully cooked and colourful. Carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and green cabbage. The roast potatoes were out of this world. Beautifully crisp and fluffy. We had 2 deserts, Rhubarb Crumble with custard and a Malteser Cheesecake. Both were beautiful and not too sweet, which I loved. The wine list is very comprehensive, with a good choice. I can honestly say that this was one of the nicest meals that I have had in a long time. I would definitely eat here again. Thank you Chef and lovely Staff.

   The family stayed overnight and had dinner and breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms where all clean and nicely decorated. My shower was lovely but I would have liked a non slip bathmat. Great nights sleep. Good quality food well cooked and plenty of choice for breakfast.

   Booked a table early in the day, and duly arrived at our allocated time. Politely asked if we would like a drink in the bar, as we were a little early. Excellent pint of lager. And quality drinks all round. Ordered our food and about 10/15 mins later asked to go to our table. Wow, like several comments before. This is not fast food. But oh my, gorgeous food. Well presented using quality produce. Been here a few times as my uncle lives close by and my late mother used to work here. Just call in and try their food. You will be amazed.
