This is my regular fish shop,love it and now they have introduced pizza ,tried it first time and its better then any other local shop..thank you .
Been taken over by new staff food absolutely disgusting ordered a white pudding to be given haggis also ordered a smoked sausage when I came home it was a pork sausage phoned to complain and apparently they don’t do smoked sausage but yet it’s on the menu. Chips were disgusing definitely won’t be going back
If I could score less than one star then I would have. Since the chipper has been taken over it’s been disgusting. Your food comes soaked in grease with half of the fryer oil on your tray! I will not be back to this chipper which is a shame.
Ordered battered pizza suppers this was so greasy and no flavour just a taste of greasy, soggy, burnt and not enough batter was disgusting...chips were soggy and tasted weird thier was loads of grease on the bottom of the takeaway dish to greasy..chips were like old potatoes were cooked, king rib was burnt, greasy and did not taste like a king rib at all, asked for a smoked sausage to be told they didnt do smoked sausage and showed me a pork sausage they do but its on the menu. Not good at all was very disappointed
Ordered suppers and was given singles, when asked - was told what I was charged and what change I was given - even though it was wrong and I had received less change than I should have if paying for singles. Did not receive a receipt or rest of the meals - owner was just flustered and adding things up off the menu instead of checking the till to see what was actually ordered and charged! Can get a better response from a brick wall.
You either like a chip shop or you don't, I think I would be in the don't camp regarding the mastrick fish bar
Stay clear. Absolutely useless staff. Ordered food paid for, waited over an hour. Uber eats said restaurant was to blame. Still not refunded. Owner refused to send her own driver. Disgrace of a business. This is not a chip shop worth saving this winter... Stay clear.
Not ordered from here before, so we were keen to see what it was like. Very disappointed. My son had a king rib supper & after just one bite he came announced that it was not good at all & did not taste anything like a king rib. I myself had a fish supper & I was not happy with it. It was greasy & the fish was tasteless, there was barely any fish in the batter. As for the chips, they were either hard or crispy to the point where I couldn’t eat them. Even my partner, who will eat almost anything and he had trouble eating his chicken supper. All in all Im afraid I would not recommend this chipper to anyone, unless it sorted themselves out & started serving more edible food that is either not swimming in grease, overcooked or a bad copy of an item that other good chippers sell.
Booked a delivery 24 hours in advance through Just Eat. They cancelled the order 45 mins before delivery saying they couldn't make the food. It was a Fish Supper! Really (: Address is 1.8 miles away, clearly don't want the business!
