Today I visited Pierreponts Café, and despite how busy it was, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn’t have to wait long before being offered a table. The staff were professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout my visit, which added a lot to the overall experience. The café itself is quite small, but it has a warm, charming atmosphere that makes it feel welcoming rather than crowded. I chose my meal based on the photos I had seen on Google, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The tart with salad was fresh, balanced, and full of flavour. Overall, a great spot worth visiting again.

We ordered eggs benedict and smoked salmon with eggs on sourdough. The eggs benedict were nice, but the second meal was absolutely disappointing- burnt toast and eggs dripping with butter. They didn't even taste of eggs!

Stopped for a latte and scotch egg whilst cycling the King Alfred Way gravel route. Perfect timing and the food and service was top notch. Sat outside so could also keep an eye on the bike.

Really lovely visit. We used to be semi regulars but haven’t been for years. We were pleasantly surprised as we think it is even better. The atmosphere was relaxed, the coffee good and the food delicious. The shakshuka had the richest thick tomato sauce with just the right spice. We won’t leave it so long next time! Definitely worth booking as it gets busy. Plenty of seating outside if it’s a sunny day though.

Great little spot for tasty, wholesome food in the beautiful Goring. Amazing juices, soups and sandwiches. The shakshuka was one of the best I’ve had! Friendly service and care taken to note your dietary requirements. I’m dairy & gluten free and have no trouble finding something delicious to eat every visit.

It's very rare for me to write bad reviews. I much prefer to write good reviews for businesses, however, as a longstanding, all seasons customer at Pierreponts Cafe I am deeply disappointed in terms of their customer service of late. My partner has suffered mouth cancer and as a consequence he is physically unable to enjoy the pleasures of food that so many of us take for granted. For him, a coffee is one small pleasure left in life even if it does take him considerable time to consume. Sadly neither of us feel valued customers anymore and it has become patently clear that most likely we spend too much time and too little money in this Cafe to warrant good customer service.

What a place. Top cuisine in a village cafe, even if that village is Goring. We had an excellent second breakfast - eggs Benedict was outstanding, as was the smoked salmon on avocado soar dough toast. Coffee was good too. Definitely worth a detour

Now this is a coffee shop. Delightful building with the right vibe and decor. Very high standard of food, even the salads are given love, seeds and seasoning. I had a sausage baguette (granted these arnt hard but high end sausage standards says alot!) Outside seating and a perfect place to while away the day. Can't wait to retire and spend all my money on coffee here.

Lovely place. One comment about the boiled eggs. Please could the chef consider dunking them in cold water after boiling, to stop the yolks over cooking? The yolks on my dippy eggs were undippable :-( But the marmite on the soldiers is genius :-)
