Absolute favorite Indian in Wokingham. Though so disappointed that onion bhajis have been changed! Previously round crispy ones were best ever! BRING THEM BACK! Still our favorite though.
I recently placed a collection order from Village Curry and was thoroughly impressed. The food was ready right on time, and the quality was exceptional. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend Village Curry for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. Really happy with Jay and the team at Village Curry. Food is perfect, ordering is easy and delivery has always been great. I’m super fussy about Indian food but no complaints here. The Taka Tak was exceptional. The last delivery was simply one of the most tastiest takeaways we’ve had.
Enjoyed a delicious takeaway from Village curry. Ordered a chicken korma, lamb passanda and both dishes were delicious. The naan breads were equally tasty and I was greeted with a friendly welcome upon collecting. Will be back for more soon!
This is a first with village curry for us we have used them many times without dissatisfaction. Our delivery was an hour and 20 minutes after order on a Sunday for a treat. There was very little chicken in our main meals and the food was not very hot. Not great Tried again last night - what a shambles !! Missing main. Grit like substance in the meal. Hair found in meal. Phone numbers didn’t work. Message left with order in. Food collected and refunded .. offered a free pizza which was not accepted. Never again.
Worsest curry ever,it wasn't even curry just soggy onion with 4 pieces of lamb! And lamb bhuna yellow color? No spices, no taste except of onion! Absolutely disgusting all went to the bin!
Best tasting takeaway around. Only issue is that there seems to be less meat in the dishes now (only 5 bits of chicken in the tikka last time)
Ive ordered tikka masala and butter chicken, plus coconut rice - dishes which I've had before in a good and popular Indian restaurant in London. I decided to give it a try with Curry Village followong suggestion of good rating on dwliveroo app, and I regret doing so. Taste and structure of the "curries" and chicken sauce were far from any other Indian meal I've eaten before. Food was waaay too sweet, as if they have put a can of sugar in each dishes and rice. It killed any other potential taste. I spent £42 just to throw it in the bin. I was looking forward to a nice dinner after a long and exhausting day and this has ruined it. What a disappointment. I will never order again from Village Curry..
This is my local takeaway and I love it. Interesting menu, great quality food and very reasonable prices. The staff are friendly and polite. The lamb kofta curry is my favourite!
I left a good review in anticipation of a wonderful meal, I ordered a delivery on the website when I phoned up as the delivery was 20 mins late the arguementive man said i put pick up and started to argue with me. So i picked it up. For the first time ever the food was not up to standard I was very disappointed the onion bhajees very dry and fell apart,the chicken was tough and every dish was floating in oil, have they changed chefs or owners will seriously think about whether i want to order food from here again.
