Greatest chip shop in derbyshire. Been to quite a few in the area and non better. Chips are good and so are the kebabs. Place is always busy with queues out the door. Staff work really hard too
I bought two haddocks, but when I got home I found that I was only given one haddock and the other was Cod, but I paid for two haddocks. What a dishonest store.
Food was absolutely delicious and would definitely use again but staff are rude and certainly dont know what manners are
We've lived in derby for a long time but this was the first time trying Shelton lock fish bar, and I'm not going anywhere else. Excellent traditional fish and chips, delicious delicious white fish, good chips and the portions are very generous, highly recommended. I'm just sorry to be this late to the party!!
The portions are huge. The quality is superb. The staff are all helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of the attributes of the establishment.
Always good fresh fish and chips are good. Peas look bit too bright green. There's always a queue, which tells you it's liked.
