   Myself and a friend enjoyed an Afternoon Tea for Two with Prosecco on a Saturday afternoon. The sandwiches and home made scone and cakes were just delicious, with huge portions! They were happy to provide vegetarian sandwiches for me. Helen was our host and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely service and atmosphere, thank you!

   Based on the photos I had seen of this place on Google, I expected Dreams Bistro to be a high quality bistro and was looking forward to trying it but it turned out that the photos were not at all representative of the experience. The decor isn't quite as premium as the photos suggest but it's just ok. The waitress was pleasant and friendly. It's steeply downhill from here though! I had a mug of tea which arrived first and the mug was really unclean inside and wouldn't have taken much effort to get it clean. This immediately puts me off the place as I start to doubt the cleanliness and hygiene. My biggest disappointment was the food, unfortunately my Big Breakfast just tasted and smelled of an unpleasant cooking oil and it seemed like everything/most items were cooked in the same pan. It was that off-putting I left the majority of it after trying each item. The meat seemed poor quality/cheap. I will never return. I have also never written a negative review until now. Disappointing as I think Derby City Centre needs a good quality bistro (or two).

   The place to be in town! I have been for dinner and I could not be more satisfied! The environment is beautiful, cozy and friendly with lots of outdoor space especially if you like the summer breeze ... the staff is great, friendly and welcoming, ready to accommodate any reasonable request ... And the food is just amazing ... Freshly made, with seasonal ingredients, well-sized portions and flavours to bring an explosion in your mouth... I enjoyed both my food and the hours spent at Dreams Bistro and when pay-time came I was surprised by the very reasonable prices! I am definitely going again and again, keep discovering the chef's surprises! Don't miss it!!!!!

   Amazing dinner tonight. My burger was one of the best I have ever tasted. So juicy and the combination with the avocado sauce,divine. Also 5 stars for my chilli prawns . Will definitely be trying breakfast and lunch.
