Curries not the best, shredded chicken in the butter chicken and mainly chopped seekh kebab in the karahi. Felt like we were given whatever meat was leftover. Also no alcohol sold.

Great food and very pleasant staff, balti and tandoori chicken were very tasty, The quantity and quality of the food was the same as other restaurants 15/20 years ago!

Beautiful restaurant, recently under new management. The decor and ambience is so on point. Brilliant, friendly service and food was so full of flavour. Would definitely recommend

We were the first ones in this great curry house as it was opening as we were shooting to a jazz gig that night. Very considerate of our lack of time available. A spotless contemporary setting. Perfect 4 course meal and wonderful value for money. Β£15.99 per person for poppadums and chutney, onion bhajee and veg pakhora starters, dhansak and rogan josh mains, mushroom pilau, garlic naan and vanilla ice cream. Not at all oily. Delicate spicing. If you want it hotter it’s best to ask. BYOB so we brought a Argentinian Merlot. No corkage fee. What a generous and pleasing experience it all was. Would definitely visit again when next in Derby. Could not fault it.

I know it is a restaurant, but I order all my Indian takeaways from here. I have only eaten inside a few times, but that was a very long time ago, so I cannot really comment on the table service. In regards to the food, I find it to be very good, most things I have tried have been delicious. The takeaway reduction, plus the collection discount is very attractive and that is what I do everytime. There are plenty of options for Indian food in Derby, but if you live in the centre, this place has the perfect balance of quality/value. I would recommend.

Avoid at all cost. Went there on the weekends. Ordered Chicken tandoori biryani didnt taste like one felt like eating boiled rice. Another one called Nawabi although it mentioned its sweet but felt like the chef poured all the sugar in - These were chefs specials. Terrible and tasteless food plus expensive. Never going again.

Been using mogul as our Indian takeaway for the last 3 years. Food is always in the timeframe given, arrives hot and tastes amazing. Really helpful if you need to call and speak to them. Wouldn't go anywhere else

On a business trip working nights and this tasty Indian was just the ticket.. lovely food and wine with the usual excellent service from a family owned Indian restaurant.. highly recommended

Visiting Derby for the weekend, tried Mogul restaurant. Ali the waiter worked so hard bless him. Rushed off his feet, kept his cool and so pleasant and polite despite being short staffed. The food was delicious and would highly recommend this place.

This is a hidden gem, great food just in the city center, quick service, not always crowded, but taste is equally good compared to all the Indian restaurant in Derby. Quantity is quite big, good for sharing.
