We were welcomed by Ethan, and he was lovely and friendly - great first impression. The food was good - and very good value for the price. But the service was really slow and spoilt our experience of eating at The Oasthouse.

Tables and chairs were tatty and stained. Some of the window areas and corners along the floor looked dirty. It was also so cold in there we had to keep our coats on. On the positive side, the staff were lovely and the bathrooms were very nice.

Came across place this place whilst looking for a decent menu for gluten free. And honestly I was not disappointed. From the get go the staff couldn't have been more helpful. First the gluten free menu is one of the best I have seen in a long time, everything from burgers, steaks to chicken, there was starters and even desserts. Once I explained I was both gluten free and dairy free and ordered my food, my starter had some dairy on it the server came to speak to me and altered it to suit my dietary needs. Honestly this is the best place and I will definitely be back.

Tasha was our server - very friendly and up for a laugh, allowed us plenty of time to decide what we wanted to eat. Stan was our chef - absolutely amazing quality of food!

As far as pubs go, it was you'd expect. Food is what you'd want after a few drinks, prices are reasonable. The best part about this pub is the service. Couldn't do enough for me and my work party. Sam was especially helpful and attentive, thank you.

Been here many times for breakfast, normally have no complaints but today hash browns were cold and eggs under cooked. Quickly replaced and sorted by staff

All you can eat breakfast for £10? You might be forgiven for thinking that the food might be poor quality, or the service is slow... But you'd be wrong. The food was piping hot and delicious, and extra portions were served really quickly. Staff were all really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come back here again!

It’s a good sized pub with plenty of inside seating. My husband and I managed to be in time to order some food and were pleased with the range of selections on offer. The prices are also extremely reasonable and the portion sizes are on the larger side, too. They also had a wide range of desserts- the chocolate brownie with sauce and ice cream was particularly good. Places like this can be hit or miss, and I was very pleased to see it was a hit.

We stay at around 90 premier inns a year and some can be stagnant Got to say the service at the oast house was brilliant A guy called Shane looked after our table...Top man, well briefed, polite and good at his job I'd recommend this place to any other travelling tradesman

Great service. Manager went out of her way to help celebrate two of our children's birthdays which was lovely and very thoughtful. Very happy to bring extra gravy/sauces etc and nothing was to much trouble. Shame we live so far away and can't be regular visitors.
